I find it incredible that this hotel charges you about the use of the pool when you are a guest. It has some amenities but the guest must pay if they use them.

There’s pros and cons. Firstly the good - it’s modern, clean and the facilities are in great condition. It’s quiet, the air conditioning works well and there is good water pressure. Now the bad - Elevators! You will often be waiting a while for the elevator. Even at 11pm at night the elevators can be full. I also went to use the hotel laundry but all the washing machines were being used up till midnight. I couldn’t use a dryer till after 1am in the morning - It’s crazy. My advice if you stay here is don’t use the additional facilities unless you are very flexible on time and have a lot of patience.

Long lines waiting for elevator, laundromat

I will give it 3.5 stars. The location is good. The hotel staff is polite but not helpful. We have a family of 4, reserved 2 rooms and requested the rooms on the same floor. When the request was not met, they did very little to try to address it. The issue worsen with their elevator logic. There are times took 10-mins before you can get on an elevator, making time consuming when you tried to go between floors. The stairs seem to be reserved for emergency only, so I cannot even use the stairs to go one level down to grab some ice. The facilities they offer, such as public bath and laundry are quite crowded, making me believe the capacity of the services do not meet the scale of the hotel.

This hotel is very modern and comes with lots of useful in-room technology. Although the room is small, it’s very comfortable. The views from the pool and restaurant area on the top floor are truly impressive, and the hotel is taller than I expected. Dotonbori is just a few minutes’ walk away, and the nearest train station is even closer

Staff was very nice and polite. Hotel was beautiful and clean. Room was cozy and had everything we needed. I would only suggest to have staff available for foreigners unaccustomed to customs to help guide with the Onsen etiquette. Overall, great place.
