The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pools are great. There is the main lodge and the Bay Breeze. I would equate staying in the Bay Breeze to staying at Motel 6. There wasn't really a price difference between the two buildings, was a matter of availability. Very run down and stained. AC had a tough time working. No fridge or microwave. The store in main building closes at 4 and never found a vending machine. Was very disappointing for what you pay to stay there.

The property was out of date, bee sheets and pillow cases were stained, no fitted sheets. The waterfall in building was not working. Pool in our area was out of order. Front desk person was not at the front desk, had no idea where to check in at. Parking was full at our building had to park up a hill.

Got duped…went through Expedia and the complex/unit they booked our room was very very outdated. Black mold in the shower, balcony door looked like it was kicked in and never fixed. Also, wifi was out for the entire complex. When I tried to ask for help the maintenance guys they sent over stated it was my fault…although I showed the guys in person, on 3 different devices, that router/wifi name was not available at our complex/unit. Because it was Friday afternoon every person I spoke to said no one could do anything till IT or manager gets back in on Monday morning. We decided to check out a night early and luckily the Front desk was helpful enough to to refund me 1 night stay. Just knock down the old units and rebuild…or don’t. Because offering those quality of rooms at those prices do not make sense.

We enjoyed the resort with plenty to do without having to leave the premises. It's a little "time dated" but we enjoyed that as well. The lady at the desk said they were going to have a lot of work done in 2 weeks to "refresh" the whole lodge. The food was good, the Japanese garden was beautiful, we enjoyed the pool, and the scene of the Lake was gorgeous! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony of our room & watching the boaters on the Lake. My wife had both a pedicure & a manicure & she was very happy with the lady who took care of her. We have already shared our experience with some friends! (Oh yeah, we were celebrating our 40th Anniversary.)

After check in and was given my room I went to the assigned room and entered. What I found was someone else was already assigned to the room. I immediately exited the room and went back to the front desk and told them what I happened. They did not seem bothered at all by it. The attendant then told me they had me checking in the following day not this date. I explained to her several times that I had stayed the week before and they updated my stay for me to check in on Monday instead of Tuesday. She blamed it on hotels.com for it being wrong but I repeated that I changed the reservation with them. She asked me to have a seat while the manager checked for room. After sitting for over an hour I approached the front desk and asked if they found a room, the response was no but they left me sitting. They agreed to cancel my reservation with no charges. However the following day hotels.com informed me that I would be charged a $203 fee for cancellation. I explained the details again but was still told I would be charged. The front desk at the Lodge of 4 seasons seemed unorganized. While waiting I observed multiple customers walk away frustrated. I observed one attendant laugh at a customer who was asking questions about her stay. I have stayed before but will not again. I will not use hotels.com again either they were no help whatsoever

This property was just gorgeous!! The pillows aren’t amazing, but the pools sure are! Maybe check the price of Shirley Temples, but the resort overall is absolutely amazing and I would recommend to all of my friends.

I would not recommend to stay here, the pics they post online are Ai pics and not real pics of the place, everything is falling apart and broken, the restaurants are expensive and not that great of food. The furniture in the rooms was broken, the carpets are stained and dirty and the shower tiles leak from the upstairs shower above you. No fridge in the rooms. They all need remodeling, not very clean we found hairs in the bathroom sink and tubs.

Not nearly enough chairs at the pools and minimal shade options. Were told we didn’t need reservations for HK Restaurant on the 4th and turns out you did them and we had to leave the property for dinner only to get stuck in the traffic jam for their 4th of July fireworks “come by the car load”.
