The property was old and dated. They made us pay an additional fee just to upgrade to a lesser older building but the area was still old and dated. The room smelled like mildew and when called about it they just changed the air filter which never fixed the issue. The room was not clean and had to go out a buy cleaning products and rewash the sheets. I would not recommend this property to anyone. The gym had old non functioning equipment and you can't go in there by 7am which should be 24/7 access.

Over all great property. Had a vip upgrade I was told and drove over to our room and checked in to open the door and find it was never cleaned from housekeeping had to call the front desk complain then they did give us a nice room. The first impressions weren’t that great should’ve never happened. Don’t blame the front staff. It wasn’t their fault. They were very nice.

The first night the A/C was not cooling enough. By the second night the A/C broke. At 1 AM had a to move rooms. Told to come to front desk to pick up new keys instead of having someone drop off keys. It keeps getting worse. The next morning had to get new keys that didn’t work. Had 2 return twice because the keys didn’t work. Told it was my cell phone was causing the keys to malfunction 3rd time after speaking with manager they worked. No apologies. No comps stay away

We have stayed at Vacation Village about 15 times over the years. Mostly stay using our time share but this was a short trip. In the past this had been one of our favorite resorts. Not much in the way of entertainment or amenities but very spacious and super close to everything! Unfortunately the resort is starting to show its age. Our room and the hallways smelled very musty. Appliances and kitchen items are old and worn. Furniture is just ok. Couches are showing their age and just feel dirty. The humidity level in our room was horrible. Everything felt damp. It wasn’t just the weather because my son’s room was fine. Also two of our towels had brown stains on them. All that being said, I would still recommend this place. We were only there for three days this time so I didn’t even bother to report anything. But in the past they have been super accommodating and helpful if there was ever an issue.

We loved our stay! We were there for a little over two weeks. The only thing is we requested house keeping multiple times and they never came. However, we were given bedding and towels upon request so we just did it ourselves.
