Disappointed, misled and not worth the hype I expected a lot more from a Hilton-branded property, but my stay at Tuscany Village was a letdown. First off, I was hit with a resort fee that was never clearly disclosed during booking. It felt like a bait-and-switch by the time you check in, you’re already being overcharged. The rooms? Outdated. The furniture is worn, the decor looks like it hasn’t been updated in over a decade, and the overall feel just doesn’t match the price tag or “resort” label. It’s more like a dated timeshare than a luxury escape. Customer service wasn’t much help either when I brought up the surprise fees. Definitely won’t be returning. Be cautious before booking this place is not what it seems.

They were great and brought a hair dryer to our room when I couldn’t find one. However, we were told we could request a late checkout and stay until 11:30 being our flight was later in the day. When I requested the late checkout they told me we could stay until 10:30- only a 1/2 hr after regular check out. Disappointed! We are there 5 nights and they couldn’t let us stay another hour- check isn’t until 4pm for incoming guests.

This facility is absolutely beautiful. A large pool for family or a quieter one located close by. The snack bar/bar is steps away from the pool. Cleaning staff was efficient [for additional daily charge] and driving distance to all parks and shopping is minutes away.

The property was clean and very nice. I would stay at the hotel again. I’d just NEVER agree to ANYTHING to do with participating in the timeshare pitch. The check in and timeshare pitch and process was completely nauseating. I was flat out lied to get me to go to the timeshare. I was promised a $175 GC, plus a free week’s future vacation at another Orlando Grand Hilton. The future “free” vacation was not free at all. I found out there are hidden fees and obscure times and limited hotels (not in Florida) to choose from. Not cool at all about the lying. The timeshare pitch went well over 90 minutes and it was a hard sell con job.

We had a first floor unit in Building 1 near the pool. For many people this might be too close to noise but it wasn't for us. Very convenient to go back and forth for meals or whatever. Sure the staff is up early prepping things for the upcoming day but to us minimal noise. Easy quick trip to anywhere around Orlando, Publix across the street for anything you might need. Great property for walking/running if that's your thing. Overall great stay!
