I have been a loyal guest at this property for many years and have never had an issue checking in an hour or two early. However, during our recent visit, we were made to wait over three hours in the rain despite being told we would be called when our room was ready — which never happened.
This stay was meant to be a special birthday celebration for my wife, who looks forward to staying at this hotel every year for her birthday. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The front desk staff showed little concern for our situation and even refused to let us use other parts of the facility, such as the pool area, despite our prepaid reservation of over $1,200.
Having worked in the hotel industry myself, I understand that delays can happen, but attentive guest care should always remain a priority. Sadly, this was not the case during our stay.
This experience was a complete disappointment and a disservice to loyal guests. I strongly urge you to address these issues and retrain the front desk team to show more empathy and professionalism.
