Good stopping place for traveling up the coast

Super cute in an old school way. Would have loved some more pillow (2 per bed, for us 1 per person, I love pillows, especially at a hotel). Beds were fine but could use some updating, as well as the rooms. Showers were meh and for the ladies don’t forget to bring hair conditioner, they provide shampoo only. We are from Maryland traveling up the west coast so couldn’t bring much. AMAZING COFFEE SHOP super close called the Village Bean.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed our brief stay at the Dublin House. The bed was clean and comfortable. We were only a short distance to quiet a few restaurants for breakfast and dinner.

Not what i expected

Pros: location, basically clean, comfortable mattress. Cons: not friendly staff, pool not heated like advertised, thin walls, no hot water after 10pm for showers, no hot water in sink at all, very basic cringy decorated room, chunks of tile grout on bottom of pool (cut my sons foot)

It was a nice stay, and I’m glad they let my dog stay there too for an extra fee. I’m a single mother of 2 and we booked this hotel for the location and the pool bit weren’t able to enjoy the pool because we couldn’t leave the dog unattended there, as it is the rule I was unaware of. Kids were bummed.

Room received was not the room shown when booked on Expedia. No house cleaning service during four-day stay. Large black Spider in bathroom. My wife and I joked it was our version of camping. Property was clean; however, while the room had a view of the ocean, it also had a view of three successive rooftops leading to the ocean. Would not return.

This motel was excellent! Check in was easy and the gentleman was very helpful with a map of the area and dining suggestions. The room was very clean and bright, with a window from which you could see the ocean. I liked the table and chairs, where we could plan our next day and have a snack of our leftovers, reheated in the microwave. Tv had quite a few channels. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if ever in the area.
