Bed sheets had visible brown stains on them. Room hadn’t been swept in who knows how long. Walls paint was unfinished. Shower water pressure was like a light trickle and the hot/cold temperature of the water would fluctuate randomly without the gauge being moved. Walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors clearly. Website said “city view” but what that really meant was a clear view of the junk yard 20 yards away.

A nice spacious room, clean, comfy beds. I was a bit disappointed that there is no ac unit. The room is a bit stuffy. The front desk clerk kindly loaned us a fan.

The area was sketch. But the motel was absolutely covered in cameras. Didn’t stop our neighbor from door dinging my car and then just walking away after saying sorry, as if that makes it okay. The rooms are scarily low quality, but mostly clean. This is the $80 motel you were looking for. Everything is just more expensive now

It is in need of serious updating/cleaning. Bed was not comfortable as it felt like a weird air mattress hybrid. Area was somewhat convenient though sketchy. Felt like we should have been charged $50 not what we paid. If given the choice of this or camping out in the rental car at a campsite, we should have chosen the car. Staff at check-in was friendly. Weird rule on a printed card at the front desk stating full days charge even if you try to check out after 15 minutes. Staff claimed “hikers” were using the hotel for showers. Made me think of other things and we brought everything in from the car for safe keeping.

Needs attention

Very small. Bathroom not as clean as should be. Not all outlets worked. Pillows to hard. Bed to soft. Floor not not clean. It was just supposed to be a place to sleep, unfortunately it was not comfortable. Left before 8am.

Exceptional Value and Super Friendly Staff

Love the Silver Sands hotel. The price is great, the rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. They even allowed me to park my 20-ft utility trailer and the gentleman that checked me in said he’d keep an eye on it personally and with the security cameras. I’ve stayed there twice this trip and both experiences were great.
