Honest review

I’m going to do an honest review – not a bad one, but an honest one. I was surprised at checking that this hotel had 9.2 out of 10 for reviews. The front desk was empty when I went to check in on Saturday, but I couldn’t blame the attendant because it looked like she was the only one here doing everything. The hotel parking lot is comical, but thankfully there is parking in the back. The parking lot is very difficult to maneuver and when turning the corner, unless you have a tiny car, it’s gonna take more than one try if the lot is full. The hotel set up is different. Some of the rooms are inside and some of them face the outside. We were in one of the ones facing outside so the noise from other rooms and the street was not muffled. The room was small with the two beds so there wasn’t a lot of room to put luggage. I did like the sink outside the bathroom, which helped when getting ready. You can tell it is an older hotel that has been updated. The bathroom door didn’t shut well unless you forced it and it was loud. The shower head was also comical. Only about half the nozzles sprayed. Breakfast was continental. They had a few options like bagels, cereal, waffles, and and hard boiled eggs. It took us a little while to figure out the room temp to get it right. Not too hot not too cold. Overall it was clean and the people were nice, but I would give it a solid 7 overall not 9.2.

The front desk lady made this trip extra special for my sons 4th birthday!. A ballon & taffy!. As well as a little welcome gift for our furrbaby! Towels, treats, and dog bowels! Our stay was wonderful. We absolutely loved seaside oregon ❤️.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. They had salt water taffy at the desk and that was popular with the grandkids. The breakfast provided was comparable to other hotels that have a basic continental breakfast (hard boiled eggs, biscuits/gravy…not very flavorful, cereals, 2 waffle makers, toast/bagels/muffins, juices, coffee/tea. They had fresh baked cookies every day (much appreciated). The pool was well maintained (indoor pool). The rooms (2 queen beds) were comfortable and clean. The facility is definitely an older oceanside hotel: carpet worn/ripped, plumbing is noisy (but tolerable). Location is exceptional, 2 blocks to beach, 1 block to Main Street with lots of activities & restaurants. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay at this family friendly motel.

Overall decent spot to stay in good location. Beds weren’t the most comfortable. Decor was confusing. Nice breakfast spread in the morning though. Also, Every time we tried to speak with front desk, they were always on the phone and we waited forever. They should have a separate line and rep assist with over the phone reservations. Not sure why they would do that and take away from the guests that walk in. All in all, it was decent for the price and short stay

Convenient location to shops, restaurants, and beach. Very clean! Just need to ensure soap shower gel containers are refilled. Plenty of towels for us. The best and most friendliest staff I’ve had in awhile! Great coffee and we appreciated the quick breakfast choices. I’d stay here again!

A friendly clean family vacation spot

Itis a friendly and clean place to stay on a budget. The coast is not right out side but a couple blocks and your there. It's not set up for a full kitchen experience but you got a small fridge, microwave and expreso coffee machine
