Putnam Lodge Hotel and Spa

15487 Northwest Highway 19, Cross City - Map
"Beautiful lodge, old and interesting."
The lodge has a definite fun and incredible history, so it was great to learn about it. But being old the electrical plugs in the rooms were extremely limited and the beds, at least for us, were too hard. The staff was outstanding - very caring and friendly, help out with whatever and chat if you wanted. The staff is very trusting in your coming and going and checking out......small town, that's how it's done there. The entertainment was outstanding. We didn't eat there but the people of the town said it's always delicious. The menu was inviting for sure. Glad that we stayed there.

Cedar Inn

"great place"
Perfectly close to everything to do in town. We walked just about everywhere. Room was basic. Bed couch mini fridge and microwave. Nothing to rave about but it suited our needs just fine. It's a small old Florida town. The back patio wood is a little creaky but as lon as you know to step on the beams you'll be just fine. Don't come in expecting the ritz. It was an amazing time the inn staff was great. She noticed that my boyfriend is 6'4" and offered us the room with the king sized bed. Obviously we accepted. She checked with us whenever she saw us to see if we needed extra towels/trash bags and whatnot. Awesome experience!! Will visit again!!!

"Extra nice touches!"
I very much appreciated the cleanliness of, and obvious care put into the motel and grounds by the owners and staff. I was especially impressed by the very nice park area they created behind the motel, overlooking the beautiful Suwannee River. It is a very beautiful and peaceful area, made so by the owners, and adding to my relaxation and enjoyment of my stay at this very nice motel. Thank you.

"Spacious, Comfortable River Side Stay"
We were exploring a part of Florida beach lovers seldom visit and found a great place to stay with our 2 Welsh corgis! The room - or should I say "suite" included a living room, lovely bathroom and a separate bedroom that accommodated a king size bed with plenty of extra space. Nice and clean and neat and comfortable! Great value and convenient for those boating or fishing on the river or the Gulf. If your in Steinhatchee - be sure to book your stay at the River Inn.

Cadillac Motel Fanning Springs

7490 Us Highway 19, Trenton - Map
"Nice spot"
It was everything I needed, clean and quiet and updated. My only complaint is that there's some weirdness with the address when getting routed to the property. It is in Fanning Springs not Trenton. The Expedia map showed it correctly for a general location but when it was time for directions it took us to Trenton, had to ask for directions.

Old Town is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Old Town, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Old Town hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
