I received a call from the property around 1pm, asking when I was checking in, I explained that I thought check in was at 4pm, he said our room was ready and asked when we thought we would be there, which I said around 3-3:30pm. We arrive at 3:30pm, he is not there so I call the number left on the door and he says “can you come back at 4pm?”. I expressed that he had called me not long before saying my room was ready. He says “oh I did, I will be back in 5-10 minutes.”
When getting into our FIRST room, the fridge/freezer was leaking all over the floor, so I called them. They came up and offered us another room (beside this one). I said “oh, is it ready?” And he says “let me go check.” He then said it was. So we go into our new room, when we went to lay down, there was stains on the sheets (looking like blood). I sent a message to the property, asking for new sheets, which he replied “what room.” I told him what room. Didn’t hear anything for a few, I then asked if I needed to come get the sheets myself and he says “I’ll bring them, fixing a door real quick”. Very shortly after a kid knocks on our door, with new sheets (rolled in a ball and not folded) but they did smell clean. This kid also had a parrot on his shoulder.
Overall it was a very uncomfortable and unpleasant evening. Would not stay here again.
