Check-in was super easy, and the staff were very friendly. We only stayed for one night. The lobby had a hint of smoke smell, but it wasn't bad. It could have been that a smoker had walked in right before us. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the best place for you. The beds are a bit firm, the AC in our room was loud, and we could hear the people above us as they walked around their room. We were just traveling through and the room rate was reasonable for what you get.

The indoor pool was cold and out of service. Night staff was so dressed down and un professional I thought he was a guest behind the counter. The breakfast was good and as expected. The pillows were too small and lumpy. The bed seemed hard and not comfertable.

This is a very clean and pretty hotel. The room is spacious with 2 queens and a sofa bed. We have a dog and she is welcome here. It's quiet. Easy to access.

The sheets hadn’t been changed prior to us checking in. My family didn’t sleep underneath the blankets. I only checked prior to checking out when we’re double checking for all of our belongings I found a razor and a straw under the sheets.

The hotel said it was a 100% smoke-free facility, but it reaked of cigarette smoke as soon as you walked in the lobby. Our hallway smelled of drugs (which could be the fault of a customer and not the hotel). Our beds were so lumpy (picture attached). The people working at the desk were friendly and helpful. It was just not a comfortable place to stay overall.

Surprisingly Poor

We have always had excellent stays at LaQuinta. We were surprised to find dirty elevator and stairs, poor, squeaky mattresses, low quality breakfast (with no water available) and a bathtub with no drain plug. There was also no water in the fitness room. Just not what we have come to expect from LaQuinta.

When I booked the room it said in the post that it had a handicapped shower, a roll or walk in shower. When we got to the property they said that they didn't have one. I think if you are going to advertise that you have a roll in or walk in shower then you should have one. My husband is not able to step over the side of a tub to get in and take a shower. The only reason that I booked the room at Laquinta was the handicapped shower. Also the heat/AC unit in the room was very noisy, making it almost impossible to sleep. I did report the Heat/AC issue to the front desk.
