got stuck ground floor room and cheap construction made impossible sleep with sounds people walking above me and hearing people in adjacent rooms. sleep score =0, i would never go back there

We traveled from Monterey on vaca with our 2 boys and took a chance at a no name hotel ( Inn) The room had no AC ( I guess I missed that part) tiny window for air flow. The hotel did not mention the pool was drained for our dates but did offer us to swim at the hotel next door. Lol Our boys were bummed. The room felt stuffy and the queen beds seemed more like a full size. We checked in saw the room and non amenities and walked right out. We kindly asked if we could have a refund or partial refund the front desk gentleman said NO. No help or anything. We left disappointed but drove into Solvang and found the Hampton which was a fantastic stay.

It was a very good experience

No Kleenex, dishwasher not secure, coffee pot leaked, no sugar for coffee, toilet in master bedroom won’t flush sometimes due to toilet “running”, toilet paper dispenser in master bedroom broken, long very long wait for hot water, views were disappointing. Very clean, very comfortable, especially the beds, well-equipped kitchen, great beach accessories, well-regulated temperature, greatly-appreciated laundry facilities, beautifully decorated, lighting really superior, sufficient electrical outlets, best parking, excellent access to beach and Pismo Main Street.
