The pictures on Expedia were either AI produced or enhanced somehow. As soon as I drove up i could see this hotel was not the hotel advertised. Its in bad shape inside and out. My business partner had to change his room when he wiped the bathroom floor with a washcloth and it came up black. Not dusty, not a smudge, but black, like he'd just changed the oil in his car. It was disgusting. I had to put my shoes on to walk across the carpet in my room. The carpet was so gross. If we hadnt already paid we would have moved to a different hotel. This place needs a total overhall. I will never stay here again.

Amazing and cute hotel

Lovely stay at the Auld Holland Inn! Room was fantastic and spacious with excellent jacuzzi tub (worth paying a little more for), comfy bed, and cute fireplace. Stall shower with good water pressure. Adorable floral decor inside and out.

The cabin we were in was like a rustic mountain cabin. Lots of wood surfaces. The bathroom was small and the shower smaller. Hair was visible in the sink drain. The toilet felt like one that is found in elementary schools

I've been wanting to stay at this cute Holland inspired Inn, for years. The Auld Holland Inn is located as soon as you enter Oak Harbor. The charming look is what got me. The windmill, the wooden tulips in the windows, as well as the location are all amazing. The customer service from check-in to check-out was very friendly and so easy. The parking was great as well, we were able to park directly in front of our room. I cant wait for our next stay, maybe in one of the cabins in back.

I booked a Queen Suite which was listed as having as having a queen bed and then a couch pull out for my child to sleep in. However, we were put in a very dirty (visible dirt on the floor and counters) room with only a queen bed. We arrived late in the evening and there was no vacancy so we stayed in the room but it was inconvenient to smush all in one bed when I had been expecting two. The person who checked us in was very nice, as was the lady who was stocking the breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was simple continental but it was all clean and fresh so no complaints there.

In need of maintenance and cleanliness

It was cute and old fashioned. The issues I noticed are that the hard floor made my socks turned black (dirty) even when I wore clean socks. The toilet holder needs to be replaced since it is rusty and loose. The faucets in the sink in the bathroom needs to be fixed, the beds wouldn’t stay still as it is on wheels. It needs improvement.

Disappointing

Rooms are small and archaic. Breakfast was pathetic. Fridge still had last guests take out food in it. Quite a ways out of town, not close to anything. Paid nearly double the price of the Acorn Inn which is in the middle of town, much nicer rooms ... same awful breakfast. Won't stay there again.

This property needs to be renovated and the price was too high for what they offered. The breakfasts included was very limited and I wouldn't recommend eating there. I have to say that the staff members were very kind and professional but I won't be coming back.
