"Ok for a stop along the way"
Clean comfortable room. Hotel staff unfriendly however. Also when I arrived at 6pm my room wan't clean and i had to wait around for 20 minutes for them to get it ready. Not much personality to this place but for a budget stop along the way it did just fine.

A really nice little motel with a great hostess. A good view, nice area, comfortable beds, good laundry facilities and a fair price. We would definitely stay again.

"Spacious, comfortable room with good view"
This is a very large hotel complex with several buildings. Our room was great, spacious and had comfortable beds. There was a nice outdoor seating area and a great view of Bras D'or Lake. Food and service were very good too. The hotel is on the highway, a little bit outside of the town of Baddeck.

"Nice hotel in great location with great amenities."
We had a wonderful stay at this resort. On site restaurant and bar were convenient, room was comfortable, and the pool was nice and warm. Affordable kayak and paddle board rental was efficient and staff were friendly and helpful. The resort has an excellent location in the town of Baddeck, close to restaurants, harbour, entertainment, grocery store, etc.

"Don't miss out on this B&B - WOW!"
What a great way to start our vacation! We were arriving on Canada Day and Terri had suggested we watch the fireworks and the sunset from up the hill, just in her backyard. Our flight got delayed and we got there in the evening but we still got our fireworks! Terri gave us a tour of her place and showed us to our room. We unpacked and went over to the neighbours. We were welcomed with many treats including wine and the best crab dip :) We looked at the fireworks and their porch, looking over the water and chatted about our plans for the week. Everyone pitched in to share their best spots. We had a great time. The next morning, we were spoiled with homemade blueberry waffles, fresh fruit, yogourt and the best coffee I've ever had! The rest of the week was as good as the first. If it wasn't French toast, it was eggs, bacon and homemade bread or ham and cheese English muffin or omelettes, etc! It was a time to pet the dogs and talk about anything! Terri and Dave were great hosts: funny, thoughful, reliable and full of information on Cape Breton! We would go back in a heartbeat! It's great central location allowed us to go to many places and come back in the same day. The room was very clean, comfortable and charming like the rest of the house so nicely decorated. What a great way to relax and enjoy the beauty of Cape Breton!

"Lovely accommodations, great food, ideal location."
Rooms are tidy, clean and comfortable. Great restaurant just across the road and if you're up for a brisk walk, a fantastic beach just a kilometre or so down the road. The receptionist was ultra-friendly and helpful. Loved every minute there and would make it a destination rather than an over-night stop next time we come to Cape Breton.

"Waterfront Cottage"
The Boat House is a refreshing change from your standard hotel/motel accommodation. A rustic little cottage on the shores of the Bras d'Or Lakes, you'll have everything you need to enjoy your own overnight or multi-night stay. A well equipped kitchenette, barbeque, outdoor furniture and even a swim in the ocean. We slept soundly with the rhythm of the waves audible through the open window of our cozy bedroom. There are 4 bunks available for kids or companion travelers. The gracious hosts encourage you to make the cottage your own while you stay. The busy little town of Baddeck is just a couple minutes drive away.

Nyanza is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Nyanza, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Nyanza hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
