This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The way the rooms were assigned felt discriminatory. I strongly advise Asian travelers not to stay at this hotel. The hotel has great air conditioning! I was there during a heat wave & the room temperature could be adjusted unlike some other nearby hotels. The staff was polite and helpful. The tram is right outside the front door and only 3 stops to the train station. My only suggestion is to have a mini fridge. It would have been helpful for cold drinks and snacks during the heat wave.

Our stay at Beatenberg Resort was extremely disappointing and did not match the expectations created by the listing and photos. The property is much older and more worn than it appears online. The exterior looks weathered, rusty, and poorly maintained, and the overall atmosphere felt isolated and neglected. Even our children commented that it felt desolate. One of the biggest issues is the location. The resort is much farther from Interlaken than the listing suggests. If you are arriving with luggage after a long journey, getting there is very difficult unless you already understand the local bus system. Otherwise, you should expect to pay a very expensive taxi fare, which in our case was approximately €100. This is an important detail that prospective guests should know before booking. The rooms also lacked proper ventilation or air conditioning. The windows and doors were left open, which allowed flies and insects into both the building and our room, making the stay uncomfortable. Our arrival experience was equally frustrating. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk for approximately 20 minutes. We walked throughout the hotel calling out to see if anyone was there before finally finding assistance. After a full day of international travel, this was not the welcome we expected. It was a wonderful two nights! Dinner by the lake was a dream (lake Como vibes!) and getting sunshine by the pool and lake after a Stoos Ridge hike was a highlight. We loved sitting on the balcony into the evening. Great restaurants all in walking distance. Pillows were very soft so we asked for a few extra and they brought them right away. They provide pool towels too! We ate at the Italian Restaurant at the hotel for dinner the first night.

Breakfast was amazing but overall the beds the bathroom everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again if we ever go back to Zurich

I booked this hotel expecting basic amenities, especially a hot shower and a comfortable night’s sleep. Unfortunately, there was no hot water during my stay, making it impossible to shower. This completely defeated one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I informed the front desk, but the issue was not resolved in a timely manner, and there was no compensation offered. A functioning hot water system is a basic expectation for any hotel, and not having it significantly impacted my stay.

This hotel has an excellent location and is within the walking distance of multiple restaurants, shoppings and train stations. The breakfast is really good and has lots of choices! Unfortunately the room does not have air conditioning, this was especially tough since those days it was very hot in Interlarken. Also, the bathroom is quite small, estfor family.

We really enjoyed our stay!! The location was amazing!! Close to everything!!
