The property is fairly newly renovated. Rooms were nice but nowhere to hang clothes or wet towels - not even a hook! No chairs in room or on the deck to sit on, except for two stools under a shelf type table - luckily we had two lawn chairs with us. TV was impossible to figure out how to get a local station for news. Power was out for 12 hours due to a thunderstorm. Obviously no back up generator and no one around to offer any information or even a flashlight. No water pressure during the power outage so unable to flush the toilet, wash, etc. Will not be returning.

Recently updated rooms with view of the water from the balcony. Kids loved that they could stream Netflix on the tv. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the downtown area, which meant the area was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Check-in was quick, with excellent service. Erin was friendly nice to deal with if needed. Rooms and linens and bathrooms were very clean and everything was well kept & in good condition. Would definitely not think twice about staying here again!

Overall it was a good experience. We were there just for the night's sleep honestly. The location is good. We wanted to check in early and they were okay with it which was nice. Had some trouble with trying to use keys. The staff I believe was the owner was very nice and polite.

Staff didn’t greet us but left the key in a lock box. This was a huge disappointment. We paid over $350 for this crappy room. Grossly and cheaply furnished, disgusting rug, dirty furniture. I have pictures of the room and is terrible. King headboard for two queens ( doesn’t fit), duct taped vent, old, cheap furniture, non potable water in the sink. I contacted the manager and they didn’t respond.

Our family stayed in the renovated part of the motel. The check-in process was great and our room was very clean. The deck was a great addition and provided a wonderful view of the bay. The proximity to the main area was great and easily walkable in 10 minutes. The Parks Canada Visitor Centre was also a 15 minute walk away which was spectacular. The room amenities were okay. The bathroom sink is very small and there were no hooks in our washroom for a towel or clothing. There isn't a closet, but there is a unit to hang your coat and shelving for caps, purses, bags at the entrance. We found the staff to be very friendly upon check in and when we requested additional towels. For the price, it was a great value and we enjoyed our time.

🌟 **Guest Review for Tobermory Inn Suites & Cottage** We had an incredible stay at Tobermory Inn Suites & Cottage! From the moment we arrived at 9pm, Erin—the manager—went above and beyond to welcome us warmly and hand over the keys without delay. Her hospitality set the tone for an amazing experience. 🏡 We booked the 2 Queen Bed Premier Room, which was recently renovated and beautifully upgraded. It was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The balcony offered a peaceful oasis with a stunning view of Georgian Bay Lake, where we could watch cruise ships loading for nearby island tours and spot the Bruce Anchor boats drifting by. 🌅 One of the most memorable sights was the Big Tub Lighthouse visible from the property—a beautiful landmark that added to the charm of our stay. 🚶‍♂️ Everything was within walking distance, including the local town stores, which made exploring Tobermory effortless. 🚗 Parking was convenient and stress-free, a huge plus in such a popular destination. 💙 This place truly captured the heart of Tobermory. We absolutely loved it and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and found the hotel to be good. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient. However, there are a few things that could really improve the comfort and experience for guests. It would be helpful to have a coffee maker, kettle for hot water, a mirror, and a small fridge inside the room. These are basic amenities that many travelers appreciate. Also, we noticed there was no access to EV chargers on the property, which is becoming increasingly important for guests with electric vehicles. With these additions, the hotel could offer a much more comfortable and accommodating experience.

The place is nice and clean, but the room AC (Air condition) was very noisy and it was hard to sleep at night due to the high noise. Also the parking was very limited and it was uneasy to find spot for proper parking.

Room is not really clean. Property showed beach front. No beach. Not proper towels in the room. Very limited towels. One face cloth for 2 people. No water for first couple hours. Municipal problem. Still inconvenient. No way to wash after travelling. Door wouldn’t stay closed had to be repaired. Overall not a relaxing beginning to our holiday
