Love the view. The hallways are a bit narrow with no elevator,but every room has a nice view over Lake Ontario. I would stay here again. Love the balcony,although it would be nice if they included cleaning the balconies when the room gets done. Lots of bird business and a nest in the corner of our balcony. But over all a good spot. Toilet handle didn’t work properly. But over all,a very nice comfortable place to stay.

The restaurant was wonderful. The staff was knowledgeable friendly and a pleasure to communicate with. The food was delicious. The air conditioner was not cool enough, the faucet handle was coming apart in the bathroom. Honestly the room was ok. I expect a bit more for the price that we paid. Seems like we were only paying for the view. The view was beautiful!

Stayed here for a wedding and had a wonderful experience. Our room was comfortable and clean with a beautiful lake view from our balcony. The staff are super welcoming and accommodating and let us check in 4 hours early. Will definitely stay here again!

Standard hotel experience with pros and cons

Overall an average hotel experience. Typical amenities, clean and tidy room, comfy enough bed, AC, etc., as you'd expect from any hotel. We were impressed with the view - balcony right across from the lake with full view of the water and boats. No jacking up the price for a "lake view" room where you can barely see the water through the trees if you squint just right. This was beautiful! We were underwhelmed with the breakfast that was included. Very limited selection of items - toaster, bagels and bread, margarine, cream cheese, peanut butter (no jam...?), donuts, mini muffins, yogurt cups, a few fruits (maybe 10 apples and unripe peaches), tea, coffee, juice boxes. I walked past around 9:20 and the donuts were gone and there were only a handful of muffins, bagels, and bread left (breakfast was supposed to be available until 10 but there wasn't much left to pick from...) Other small issues: - Shower water randomly went hot or cold for a second at a time - I requested a crib when I booked and again when I checked in online, but got there and found out they had no cribs available. Good thing we didn't need the crib until the second night so it worked out ok. They did bring a crib while we were away that day so we did have one for the second night. But what was the point of booking it ahead then? - Wifi signs you out automatically after a few hours so you have to keep re-signing in - No pen and paper - no big deal, just thought that was a typical thing to have on the desk

I stay at this location often as I have family in the area. I love the waterfront location. I have recommended this location to many friends. However, on this visit, I was not properly informed about the daily resort fee. Although it was listed in the fine print of my reservation when I checked in at the hotel, the front desk clerk took my credit card information with the explanation that it would be needed for the deposit Which would be refundable. They did not inform me of the resort fee, which would be added to my invoice. I had prepaid for my three day visitthrough Expedia. It was only a few days later that I discovered I was charged $54 for the resort fee. I spoke to Nick The hotel manager and he refused to offer a refund or any other type of creative solution although he did admit that the front staff had been negligent in not informing me. He continually stated that I had been informed in the fine print of the email. He would not even consider a voucher for a future visit. I believe that all of these extra charges should be clearly outlined at check-in time to avoid this kind of frustration. I will not be staying at this location in the future.

Price booked through Expedia was $25 more when checking out, $15 resort fee which were told covered parking and WIFI which we told them was ridiculous as that should be part of the hotel package & if they desperately need the extra fee then add it to the room rate. Basically they are just gouging their guests, so great job Ramada by Wyndham you will never get another $ of our money. Booked a king room with balcony and got a king room with patio, tried to use the pool on our checkout morning but it was closed for maintenance, no signs anywhere the day before advising it would be closed. So the $15 for parking & WIFI but you cannot use the pool, priceless!

Inside the room: spacious. We got a queen bed enough room to walk around. No closet. Only two coat hooks in the wall. Not enough hangers. Could use another chair or a small loveseat to start. No handheld shower. No phone to front desk. Property: great view at the lobby level. We woke up to a sunny day on the first day. The view was breathtaking. Guest rooms are located on lobby level (4th floor) or one below (3rd floor - Pool level). No elevator. Service: arrival night, we got the room around 7pm and the air conditioning was turned on in advance. So it was nice and cool. To save energy, we turned it off when we headed out the next day. The room was not turned down so we came back to a stuffy room. While we don’t expect daily housekeeping and fresh towels, it would be nice to have some door knob signs to get that done. Adequate self-serve breakfast. Have ice machine.
