Great place for a weekend getaway

Came up here with my brother for a weekend of fun at Niagara Falls. Location was perfect. Price was more than reasonable. Staff was excellent. Literally 30 second walk from casino. I will be back!

The facility is very old. Bed is not very comfortable. The curtain could not be closed. The front desk people was really nice and there is easy parking and even a Tesla charger. Very close to the attractions.

Location is great, within the walking distance to Falls. The A/C in the room was the noisiest I have ever heard, kept us awake at night, The floor was vacuumed but not moped, our feet and became dirty just walking in the room. There was no carpet in the room, just wood floor. The bedroom window opened in neighboring the parking lot, at below eye level. We requested a better room but were denied.

Long wait but Nice Room

We arrived 30 minutes before the check in time, and was told that the room is not available yet. We waited for a while and decided to walk to the Falls (The location is great!).and came back about 1.5 hours. Came back and was told again workers were putting on the sheets. We waited it there for 30+ min. During this time a few groups of people checked in before us. Not sure why ours took so long. Finally we got our room. We were happy to see it clean and nice.

Upon entering room, front door was open. There was mold in the shower. The bathroom fan didn’t work. The back sliding door didn’t lock. We went swimming all three days. The first days there was no towels. I told the manager and we waited another hour and no movement on towels. Literally two full baskets of dirty towels sitting there. Had to track down a maid to get a towel. It was a nightmare. We tried to get out of the last day but they would refund us. So we were stuck there.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is within walking distance to basically everything. The room was a nice size with an extremely comfortable king size bed. The only thing close to an issue we had was that we noticed a couple of mud dauber wasps trying to make a nest just outside our balcony door. We spoke with the front desk, and just happened to be introduced to their maintenance staff. He was very thankful for the info as to the location to look in as we showed him a picture. We just wanted to make sure they knew about i as its not an everyday occurrence and its better safe than sorry or stung. We ould definitely go back, more than worth it.
