You get what you pay for. The second floor walkway to the rooms feels like it's crumbling under your feet. Our door had a gap near the lock that was large enough to see through. They allow people that are not guests hang out on the stairs which is only annoying because there are only two sets of stairs. The window had no screen in it which is not safe at all for kids. Beyond that, you can't beat the proximity to Hollywood Blvd and the busiest In N Out ever.

We enjoyed our overnight at the Sofia. We arrived around 2pm and were able to get our room right away. The room was a bit small, but was stylish and comfortable. We were too early to try out the dinner menu at the restaurant Truvo (Mediterranean style) unfortunately, but had a lovely breakfast there the following day. Guests get a discount. The front desk staff member was also able to give us an additional hour at check out when we asked. The venue was centrally located and very walkable to places and events. We went to a baseball game (Padres won!) and visited the Navy Seal Museum which is very good and more interactive than we anticipated. We will go again and bring the grandchildren. Our only chagrin was that the air conditioning was louder than we’d have liked and blew onto the bed. I would advise wearing an eye mask so that it doesn’t blow onto the eyes.

Amazing location. Great rooms. I have used this place several times when I have visited - it is one of my favorite places to stay when I visit Los Angeles.

I asked staff twice for towels and tp after I skipped room cleaning but they never came. Besides that..nice.

Great stay over 4th of July weekend, filter water in lobby, complimentary drink on arrival, parking garages were near by or street parking if you can find it, room was clean, king bed was comfortable, great Tommy Bahama products, would stay here again, thank you!

I loved the staff. All of them to a one were so congenial and helpful. It was FIFA time and the hotel had an energy that was electric! Also, the food was great!

It was neat, checking in was efficient and good value for money
