We were there for 3 nights and they only gave us clean towels 2 nights.i asked about clean towels and the lady was kinda rude about it.there was no breakfast.no ice machine we had to go som÷where else and buy ice if we needed any amount.you didnt have contact with a person which was different

The Future of Travel, I Guess

Human contact is strongly discouraged here. That might be a plus for you, but it isn't for us. This place is basically being run like an STR, with an automated key system in a weird Twilight Zone room, a voice on the phone from a different state for questions, and a "property manager nearby," we were told. When we asked questions about the specific property over the phone, the call desk person consulted info they were reading to try to answer (they could not answer either question). One of the most disappointing things about this ostensibly techy place was the horrible, almost non-existent WiFi signal. We could barely get email to load and gave up on trying to use it. I think the place would have a rustic charm if it were managed by a friendly, on-site person with an eye toward isolation ("getting away from it all"). It is an old-school motel with new paint and an updated shower. We enjoyed parking right in front of our room door and the rate was good. It was just an unusual, unexpected, and unappreciated experience.

Pros: Very clean! I'm not one for staying at motels. But there were not many hotel options available. The room was cute and clean. You can see they put effort into a great stay. Can I say again how CLEAN it was! Probably the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in, and I wipe down each and every hotel room I have ever stayed in, even the interior of the fridge was clean. There were no 5 star amenities, but we just needed a quiet clean place to sleep. Fresh paint job, the room was up to date, bathroom slightly aged, but tidy and clean. Check in was a breeze, they texted ahead of time, gave you a passcode and room number. You enter a cute little lobby and enter your code on the screen and the little box pops open with your key. Outdoors they had a nice green space, that we used to walk around and stretch our legs. Some kids were using another green space to play catch and have fun running around. Cons: fairly minor cons. One of the windows was not firmly shut, it was situated in a way you could not open or close it, but the slight cracked opening let in more sound than a firmly sealed window. The bathroom towel rack was in the bathroom, and the sink was outside the bathroom. We remedied that by hanging the towel of a coat hanger. We will gladly stay there again if we are in the area!
