The hotel itself was modern and clean. The room was big for NYC, more like a suite with a separate seating area. Even though it is a separate business entity, I have to mention the rooftop restaurant. I can’t comment on the service since we didn’t receive any. My party of 7 sat for 15 minutes and were completely ignored, except for the extremely rude self-important manager who gave us a hard time over moving a barstool to our table. Ultimately, we had enough poor treatment and left. Hotel was great, avoid the restaurant because it is a waste of time (and probably money if you ever get served).

Multiple Issues

The best part about the hotel was the coffee machine in the lobby that had espressos and lattes The staff was great But our room not so much. The air conditioner was not working properly and our room was hot at night. The phone in our room did not work. You could see the small strips of wood near where The carpet met the tiled floor and the staples were sticking up a little bit through the carpet me and my husband both stepped on them.

The hotel is in a nice area near the NYC World Trade Center. The staff was great, good restaurant, however, the room is a little small. It should be noted that there may be construction happening in front of the hotel soon as the new World Trade Center 5 building is constructed.
