The overall stay was good, would I stay again. Yes. Would it be my first choice No. I didn’t like that the establishment didn’t have a vending machine or ice machine. The bed and pillows were comfortable. They put brand new sheets and towels in room. Tv had all the apps and was huge, big plus for me. Outside you had to many strange people wonder around. But I feel that is out of the hotel control considering the area. Although the hotel has parking it is limited. Convenient to transportation systems. The front desk people were very helpful.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING. NEVER BOOK WITH NOVA HOTEL BRONX. I am not one to leave reviews unless I feel that it is necessary to warn other guests. I am also a very easy going person and not picky at all. This hotel was terrible. After checking in (which was a whole other ordeal), we were given a room with no working AC and broken light switches. They eventually changed our room, but it was filthy. At that point we were too tired to go back to front desk so I spend the night wiping down the room. During our 8 night stay, our room was not cleaned twice, and it was because I requested it. Our nightmare did not end there. After the second night, we found a $783 charge from the hotel. When we brought it up to management, they said it was for our stay because we didn't pay yet. When asked how they found out Orbitz reservation if that was the case, they had no answer. During our stay, we heard from at least one guest a day with the same issue about extra charges from the hotel. This hotel is definitely running a fraudulent business.

They tried to get me to sign a paper with further charges on it ($140!). I refused, saying I had paid through Expedia. A manager came over and said there had been a “mistake”. No mistake, they were trying to get more money from me.

Below Average Hotel

The room was okay, and is convenient to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping. The room didn't have a microwave and iron with ironing board, which is a huge necessity for me. Also, they don't have no complimentary continental breakfast or fee breakfast. It can be noisy after hours, with no soundproof walls. Overall, I'll grade this hotel as a C.
