We have stayed at the Millennium a few times prior. This is the first time we stayed in a renovated room. Bed was comfortable and to have a small table, chair, sofa and mini fridge was nice. It provided a nice space to relax without having to sit on the bed. Bathroom was spacious with quality (not individual) toiletries. My only complaint is a lack of counter space. Other than the small round table, there is practically nowhere to place anything. I’m sure this is for maximizing space in the room. Staff are always welcoming and friendly.

Was a great hotel very convenient to downtown Manhattan but what I didn’t like was that an American pit bull was allow into the hotel with its owner. The dog jumped up on us while entering the lift when we showed our discontent with the owner we were verbally abused by him. Dogs should not be allowed in the hotel.

Mostly perfect stay (the construction wasn’t a big deal at all) ; the unbelievably loud group next to us was surprisingly bad though (we could hear clearly their every word (they were planning a client meeting!) — paper thin wall to window connections in the renovated rooms! I think the contractor forgot the sound isolation clips and or sound dampening foam. Ugh!

I booked thos for mt.mother, since we have stayed there many times before. This hotel has gone significantly downhill, sadly. The main door is closed ans there is conatruction, and the lobby was moved to the 4th Floor. The air conditioner didn't work during her stay and no one fixed it. The room didnt even have soap in it. The first night she stayed she couldn't reach anyone from the lobby or customer service, and people at the entrance weren't very helpful at all. I think we won'tbe booking this hotel again, seeing as it has declined so much.
