In a great area of Manhattan, walkable distance to restaurants and subway stations. Room was clean and modern. Not enough elevators for the amounts of floors in the hotel which means it takes a while to come up & down.

Nice property, close to anything in Manhattan via Uber. Only negative was cigarette smoke smell in some parts of room at times. I think people were smoking in the hotel at times.

Bad experience

The hotel shut down in the middle of my stay. Did not tell me, had horrible communication, rude staff. The only reason I found out the hotel was closing down was that I went down to reception and asked a question. They were then like, oh, by the way, the hotel will close down in 2 days. At this point, they did not know what they would do. Did not apologize. I'm guessing if I didn't speak to reception they would have just kicked me out. They ended up relocating me to another hotel without, again having to find out by asking them. They were HORRIBLE with communication and when I asked about it was told "if you don't like the way I'm doing things, I can give you a refund and you can find your own way"

The restaurant in the hotel made guests wait an hour in advance just to sit down and order, even though the place was EMPTY. The room smelled very bad, and the carpet was so filthy that l kept my shoes on. I will not be going back there!
