Great staff - very helpful, holding onto our luggage safely for us upon our early arrival. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Clean room with great view minutes from Time Square.

The property is small but perfect to have a place to stay if the purpose of your trip is to be out and about. I would definitely consider it again. The biggest thing that I disliked was the elevator wait time during the check out time. We were on the third floor and it took over 45 min to finally get an elevator.

The elevators were very frustrating to use. I couldn’t go on any other floor but mine and the gym, not even to get ice. The water at the gym didn’t work. There was no place to sit other than the breakfast area on breakfast time only. I got the city view, but it was right in front of another hotel so I couldn’t really turn on the light or they would see inside my room. The rooms are very small, but that’s understandable for the location. The cable kept going out of service while I was there several times. Generally, I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone not worth the price. The only good thing was the location.

Overall, it was a good experience. It was close to everything that we had hoped to do while in NYC. As others said previously the elevators, during the rush times were slow and could be irritating. If you planned ahead and got to them before or after the rush it was perfect.

Location perfect for Times Square and Subway stations or short walks to other attractions Breakfast included and luggage storage also. Snack shop available at reception with good choice Roof top bar worth a visit with very friendly staff On a negative as most reviews have stated very busy for breakfast and sometimes difficult to find a seat. Usually sharing tables. Lifts worst problem as even though they came quick enough when summoned 9 times out of 10 full and had to wait. Especially difficult if checking out with luggage.

Pick a floor you can take the stairs to.

The hotel is in an excellent location, and all the staff were friendly and helpful, but the building itself does not have the infrastructure to support the number of guests it services. Even at 6:30 am in the off-season it was often difficult to find a seat at breakfast. There aren't enough elevators to handle the morning check-out and breakfast rushes or the evening/afternoon check in times. The lobby is an absolute cluster during those periods and the frustrating programming for the elevators meant that after waiting 15 minutes to go up, the elevator would sometimes go to the basement after the lobby and reset all the floors people had selected, going up to whatever floor last called the elevator to go down, causing the whole process to start over again. Often while going down you would wait 10-15 minutes and then be met with a completely full elevator so you had to try all over again. It was also hot as hell in the building and we had to leave the window open for the entire stay, luckily it was winter. The room itself was small but perfectly fine, however due to the overcrowding issues I would only stay here again if it was the cheapest option for the location by a significant margin.
