We had an amazing stay at the Chemist’ Club Hotel! The location was great, the staff were lovely and so helpful and the property was beautiful. This was our first visit to NYC and I can guarantee we will stay here again the next time we’re back. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!

Great service and constantly checks in to see if there's anything they can do. Clean rooms and newly refurbished. Staff service is great and the new decor makes it one of the best looking NY hotels for the price. Only hiccup is the ticking sounds from the bathroom lights and the drain for shower was a bit slow/clogged. I only stayed for one night but they sent staff to fix it after I left.

The staff was exceptional in numerous ways. The room and bathroom were spacious by NYC standards. It was quiet for midtown Manhattan. It's location is convenient for my needs.

Stay was wonderful until the end

Bed and pillow were very comfortable. Room was very clean and well appointed. Nice robe, slippers and amenities. Room was quiet except that the doors are so heavy that they close extremely loudly. When we left they were nice enough to give us late checkout but neglected to tell us we needed to get the key physically extended so we had to go back up and down when we were trying to leave to catch a plane. Also they offered to get us a “car” to the airport for a fixed fee of $65. Turns out this is a taxi - not a car service which I found very misleading- would have rather taken a Lyft comfort for less money. And it turned out to be 67 and change. Also not mentioned. Left a very bad taste for end of trip.

Was so looking forward to our stay. The communication from the hotel before we arrived was amazing and the pictures of our room convinced us to stay with this choice over another option. When we arrived…. We were greeted and assigned a room that had a view of scaffolding and hair all over the bathroom floor. No worries they said we will move you and they did super quickly we were so grateful. Until we tried to look out the window… which was painted over ensuring minimal natural light. We were only staying for 1 night so we frankly gave up trying. If we’d been staying for longer we would have moved to our other choice. On checking out we were initially told it was our fault for booking via Expedia, and offered 2 bottles of water as compensation. Later the hotel manager reached out with a lovely apology and refund for part of our stay which was appreciated. Some work to do that’s for sure but potential

Chemists club stay August 2025

We rented 3 rooms at the Chemists Club and we were all impressed with the rooms, the cleanliness, the restaurant that had amazing breakfast available for a nominal price . I chose this hotel for the location and the reviews and would definitely stay there again. The staff was super helpful, kind and courteous.
