My stay was extremely disappointing and far below basic hospitality standards. The room was dirty, the bedspread had visible stains, and the pillows were clearly not cleaned. The bathroom towels were filthy, and the toilet bowl had stains that made the space feel unhygienic. Even the AC unit had food particles stuck inside it. There was no safety lock on the door, which made the stay feel unsafe. The corridor smelled strongly of smoke, adding to the discomfort. For a two‑day stay, the price was outrageously high for the condition of the room. This property is not worth recommending to anyone, and hosting it on Expedia will only damage your reputation. Additional concerns: poor housekeeping standards, lack of basic hygiene, unsafe room setup, and overall misrepresentation of the property.

My family and I got to stay with them for an extended time waiting for our house to be finished. Awesome place, great people , couldn’t suggest it enough. Very clean, awesome staff. Pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was well done, rooms were very clean. Best place in Ames to stay.

The room was very run down. We stayed in a suite and the pull out sofa was broken. We made due as we had already unpacked, and I had a difficult time with the staff at check in already as the front desk person spoke very soft and quickly. She also seemed pretty annoyed with us and didn’t even say hello. The carpet was pretty nasty as well. It was kind of sticky. Overall, I would not stay here again.
