I work summers as a contractor at Stennis Space Center, and every time I’m in the area, I stay at the Best Western in Slidell, LA — it’s hands down my go-to place. The recently renovated property is clean, cool, quiet, and incredibly convenient, with restaurants, shops, and everything you need nearby. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff — especially Ms. Mary at the front desk, who is professional, warm, and always helpful. The team overall is friendly and efficient, making every stay feel like home. Rooms are spotless and consistently well-maintained, with comfy beds, hot showers, great A/C, fast Wi-Fi, microwaves, and fridges. The complimentary breakfast is excellent, with rotating options, healthy choices, and 24/7 coffee. The pool is also a refreshing bonus. Parking is safe and plentiful, and the atmosphere is peaceful — perfect for both professionals and families. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Whether for work or leisure, Best Western Slidell delivers every time.

Not just because it’s a great hotel, but because it consistently exceeds expectations. The entire property has been recently refurbished — clean, cool, and very quiet, making it a perfect place to rest after long days at work. It’s also incredibly convenient: close to restaurants, stores, bars, and practically everything in Slidell. The staff is what truly makes this hotel stand out. Ms. Mary at the front desk is simply amazing — professional, welcoming, and always one step ahead of your needs. She makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The whole team is efficient, friendly, and accommodating. Rooms are spotless and cleaned daily. I’ve stayed in many different ones throughout my weeks here, and all are equally well-equipped: comfy beds, strong and hot showers, reliable Wi-Fi, microwaves, fridges, and great A/C units. Everything works, and everything is well-kept. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best I’ve had at any hotel — rotating menus with variety, healthy options, fresh juice, and 24/7 coffee available in the lobby. Everyone were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the toilet was very low. We are in our 70's and I have to wear a large knee brace. If the toilets need to stay this low then add a rail on either side. But other than low toilets the Best Western in Slidell was great

Staff was courteous, rooms were very clean, common areas were clean, bkfst was good, and parking was easy. Only off mark was the sink; kept backing up with sludge. It cleared up after 30 mins on its own.

Nasty smelling rooms with holes in the sofa and dirty old carpets We didn’t even stay there went straight to another hotel The owner still charge us for three nights, but hopefully Expedia is taking care of that
