The safe were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was always hot and good. The biggest complaint I have is the air conditioning. It was between 74 and 78 degrees in our room. They said that someone was working on it but the temperature never got below 74 degrees. We like it cool when we sleep.

The hotel is a remodeled and modernized building, however even though we knew we had to pay for an external parking, at the reception there was not much information about it. Another guest was just as confused and it was a 3rd guest who explained to us where the entrance and exit of vehicles and pedestrians were. We stayed two nights and in other Hampton Hotels they always cleaned the room and on this trip they didn't.

First, this area has no parking. The most convenient parking is across the street but be prepared to pay $80+ to park overnight because it’s owned by different company. Second, the staff specially the housekeeping are full of dishonest people. After check out, I realized I left my EarPods Pro in my room, came back 30 minutes later the lady at the front desk didn’t let me go back to my room right away (hmm, something must be wrong) until 15 minutes later. Of course 15 minutes is long enough for someone to pick it up and take it, and sure enough by the time they let me into my room, my Apple Earpod Pro was gone. Hours later i can see in my “find my iPhone app” that someone brought it home. I assume he was an employee of this Holiday Inn. Being a member of Holiday Inn for many years I am so disappointed the way they handled this situation.

This property was really nice on the inside, but the area around it is really dirty and feels unsafe. The room was small and cramped, but it had what we needed as far as three beds (including the sofa bed). The sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable for our teenage son, but it was okay. The bathroom was tight on space, but it was clean, so that's a big plus. There were enough towels and washcloths for my family of four. The included breakfast was decent, and there was plenty of seating. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is no parking for the hotel, but there is a parking garage close by that you can use. Make sure to unload your things at the side of the hotel first because the parking garage does not connect to the hotel.

Small rooms

Hotel was in a great location for walking to all the destinations that we were looking for staff was very nice. The room was just so small for a suite and to sleep 6. we were just on top of each other and the bathroom is so small. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, which was good since it was so small but getting ready to leave the next day to catch an airplane just was very crowded.

The room was decent and met our basic needs. Breakfast on the first day was a highlight — especially the sausages, which were delicious. However, the bed was a bit too firm for my comfort, and I had trouble sleeping. There was also a persistent smell in the room each time we entered, possibly coming from the carpet. That said, the hotel staff were extremely nice and welcoming, which made a big difference in our overall experience. Considering the price we paid, including our ticket package, the stay was definitely worth it.

Walking distance to Bourben Street and other needed amenities. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus and room was clean during check-in. Only cleaned the room once during my stay. Wish they turned out room daily. Two (2) elevators on the property, but only one (1) worked during our stay.

Not a very family friendly location. Parking was a nightmare, with no convenience access in or out of the garage. Security was too busy talking on the phone to help assist with the off loading area. Not all but some of the front counter associates were more worried about what was on their phone than helping the guests. Rooms were small and definitely not meant for more than 2 guests at a time. Bathroom setup was dated and layout didn't make sense. Overall just a very unpleasant stay.
