Great Hotel!!

Excellent experience. Very friendly staff, very accommodating! The room was extremely clean with very comfortable beds and a beautiful/upscale bathroom. Definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Will come back again!!

Great hotel and in a good location. I liked that there was a small kitchen that included a small stove and kettle to make tea and even a microwave and dishwasher. My only complaint is that many of the TV channels didn't work for some reason, but I was able to log in to my Netflix account which worked out better.

Very impressed with the enormous and well furnished lobby, check in was fast and our room was spacious, clean and very well equipped with kitchenette. Great location, short walk to Yale University and restaurants in one direction and Yale NH Hospital in the other. Just wish the lobby restaurant was open for breakfast as only poor alternative choices.

My first issue was that, after sight-seeing on Yale University campus all day in 80+ degree heat, I was eager to check into the hotel and take a nice hot shower. After peeling off my sweaty clothes and getting into shower, I found that the refillable body wash container was completely empty so I had to get out of the shower to open the small hand soap bar to shower with that. Then, after dinner and drinks at the hotel rooftop bar, I wanted to go back to my room and watch some TV and fall asleep. Upon checking in, I thought it was a really nice TV. Guess what? No service. You can click on the TV guide but no matter what channel you click, it goes to a black screen. There's a Netflix option but you have to sign in to your own paid subscription, which I don't have. Wth.

Excellent choice for us

Room was extremely nice, unexpectedly with a well-furnished kitchenette. Good HVAC, overall very quiet room even though next to elevator (#514). Valet service was friendly and prompt. Found a great restaurant (Heirloom) in the neighborhood, which was full of them. Blake lobby had a restaurant of its own, but it seem to close very early.
