The room was not overly dirty but smelled very musty. There was mold in the bathroom and the water came out brown and even after running it for awhile it did not come clean. The bathtub did not drain for a very long time. It was a disappointing stay for the amount of money.

Staff was friendly. Service in the restaurant was great. Quiet, comfortable room. Could definitely use a good cleaning in the main areas. Carpet on stairs heavily stained. Back hallway and around ice machine appeared messy/dirty.

Maritime Inn is conveniently situated in Antigonish and it is very walkable to town. Their restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. Some rooms have drive up access. Room was clean and comfortable.

Welcoming efficient front desk staff, who kindly sorted out our reservation on our arrival, as I had mistakenly registered twice. Prompt friendly responses from staff throughout our stay. The same hospitality coninued through the meal service in the hotel dining room. excellent food.

Staff was attentive and friendly. Had a great chat with the waitress on things to do in Sydney, as that was were we were headed. Room was ok, only issue was the leaking air conditioner that was quicky attended to on reporting it to the front desk. Came in later in the evening, and were looking for dinner--had the Pizza from onsite whish was very good. Enjoyed the full included breakfast the next morning!

The hotel itself is older so I can’t give 5 stars, but the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was 5 stars on its own. The complimentary breakfast was tasty too! Free parking is always a nice addition

Harressing you to come in

The hotel was fine' however hotel staff call me two days before the date to ask me at what time i would come in, then at 7 of the reversation time to ask me again if i would really come, i did not appreciate this type of harrasment! Never saw that before
