The entire hotel needs to be renovated and modernized. All of the hallway carpets are stained, dirty, and old with musty smell. The bathrooms are dirty and have mold in and around the showers. Also the shower head has horrible flow with very little pressure. At $384.00 you expect the hotel to be 4 star and not like Motel 6. We will never stay here again.

Upon arrival to the hotel, we were back and forth between rooms and carrying our luggage. I was given keys to four different rooms. The first room key-the door would not unlock. The second room-It was already occupied, the third room-only had a king bed/made reservations for 2 beds, the 4th room- had to wait for it to be clean. The desk clerk seemed very overwhelmed and was not pleasant. She stated she was the only one working at the time. The only bright spot was the night housekeepers were very apologetic and tried to make things right by cleaning the 4th room.

We booked this trip several months ago and selected pay at property. But the hotel charged our card 10 days prior to the stay. When we checked in, there was dirty laundry and trash in the hallways, including outside our room. Walked into the room and the floor was still wet from being mopped, although the floor still had visible dirt. I could not walk barefoot in the room without my feet getting dirty. The balcony connected to our balcony in the room next door was in disrepair and made me concerned to use our balcony. Every day we had to get out key cards reactivated. We asked for more coffee for the room at the front desk and we were told each day that there wasn't any more coffee. One night there were other guests were extremely loud in the hall close to midnight. I tried to call the front desk 3 times to see if they could assist with the other guests but no one ever answered at the front desk. One elevator did not work, the carpet all through the hotel is stained. Our comforter was also stained and the dust ruffle was falling apart. The mattress cover did not fit the bed, it was too small and caused the covers to not lay flat. This hotel is advertised as a luxury resort hotel but we were very disappointed.

I have always enjoyed staying at the Chateau. The staff were very polite. The room was clean and the dual-king bed was very comfortable. I was disappointed that the suite sink did not have running water. The air was not working in the hallway on the 4th floor. The ice bin was out of order on the 4th floor. Only the 3rd floor had a working ice bin. The second elevator was out of order also. The hand drier and restroom was out of order in the Lobby area. The Chateau has always been my favorite place to stay, but it must be maintained properly. PS. The Waffle Machine Is missed.

The room we were assigned when we checked in had not been made up. We were assigned a different room that had been made up and we left and went to dinner because we were late due to the problem with the first room. When we returned to the hotel we met a couple who were headed to their third room after the first two hadn't been made up. When we got to our room we discovered there were holes in the sheets and the shower wasn't clean

Your staff was very accommodating. We went to our room and the temperature was 99 degrees due to A/C needing to be repaired. The head of housekeeping immediately moved us to another room. She was excellent! Our room key did not work for 2 days and that was rendered immediately after each incident. Only one elevator in operation and one ice machine for 4 floors.All employees were kind and courteous. The biggest problem at this location is they really don’t have what they need to run this Historic Hotel. This is a big problem for all your workers and your guest. Thank you for allowing me to comment!

Property is centrally located, reasonably priced and rooms are spacious and clean. However, the hallways are not well air conditioned, the ice machines have been broken all summer, except on one floor and one elevator has been broken since May. The breakfast is fine, but the offerings were the same three days in a row. Parking at the hotel is limited and the overflow lot is a block away. Not great at night for women staying alone. Stay here for the location and spacious rooms.
