The hotel seemed nice and the staff was great. Our issue was we had a room with bed bugs😩 it was not covered however one is too many for me. I know things happen but the room we stayed in had issues with the toilet and then the bedbug issues. The staff were great and we ended up checking out and received a refund.

No concierge?

Staff was not helpful in directing us to restaurants or even to areas where food was available. The in house restaurant was no our style of food. I was in town for a funeral and was not interested in traveling to the downtown area which apparently was close. Although the staff advised of the shuttle, it was 102 degrees that day and we did not want to go out and depend on that mode. No maps

We checked in on Monday and out on Thursday. We were told that the room would be serviced every other day. So that meant Wednesday. That was ok. On Wednesday we had made arrangements to meet up with family at 10am. Since housekeeping was in the hallway when we returned from breakfast we put up the 'still in the room' we took it down when we left at 9:20. We again passed a housekeeping cart in the hallway. I used their text service to advise them that we were now out of the room, and got what appeared to be a standard reply. When we returned to the room at 6pm the room had not been serviced. Trash was not emptied and the coffee station not replenished, which were the 2 biggest needs, along with bed not made, no new towels etc. At check out I informed them of the issue. Along with the fact that the coffee station was almost empty of cups when we arrived and that the last coffee filter (from previous tenant) was still in the coffee maker. I was told that mgmt would check into it and contact me later in the day. Got no response. I texted the following day to go over the issue again. The response was that since I had the 'in the room' sign up (which was from 8 to 9:20am) the room was not serviced. When you try to tell someone that there was a problem that they may want to check into and you are then told that it was your fault, not theirs, it really rubs you the wrong way. The lady at check out could not have nicer. The hand off to the next level, not so much.

It's really easy to get to downtown Nashville from this location. The view from the room was nice and the parking was easy. Room had one of the quietest A/C units I've ever encountered in any hotel room!!

Where people are getting these 5 stars from I am confused. This place was just not good. -Heavy smoke smell in the front and lobby when we arrived at night -Poop and pubic hair on toilet (manager did NOTHING about this when we alerted her) -Soap canister coming off wall -Part of the shower head fell off when I turned on the shower -Air con very loud and temp inconsistent -Damp/humid and sticky room due to crappy air con -Unfriendly and unhelpful staff

Staff were awesome; they truly make the hotel what it is. Had an issue with noise in an adjoining room (lady couldn't talk without screeching) and the hotel handled it well. After that it was smooth sailing. Great shuttle to downtown a few times a day. In a nice mid-point area to get around. Would definitely stay here again!
