The property is close to the highway so the units facing the street are noisy

Our room had drink spills on the nightstand and a broken lamp. It’s also very close to airport so planes constantly fly right over making it very loud when by the pool. We had to leave a day earlier due to a medical reason and I have not gotten a response back for a refund for parking the day we didn’t stay.

The shower door was coming off and the front desk never reported it to maintenance. We saw a maintenance guy and told him about it and two guys came with us right away to our room to fix it. I also reported a bees nest in the drain grate of the pool. The front desk never reported it and bees were everywhere. When we were leaving I saw a maintenance guy and he said he would take care of it. We were checking out so unknown to if it was fixed. The maid broke a cabinet while cleaning and never reported it. We put a bandaid on it to keep it shut.

We booked a River view room at top dollar 6 months ago only to have check-in gal tell us there wasn’t a River view room available. The manager said they don’t know what kind of room we booked and gave us a pool view. I looked online and rooms were $120 less per night and was now doubly disappointed. Alex, the manager, said he would make it right the next day so we went to our room with a pool view. The next day we were offered a lesser quality room with a river view. Once again we were told a story that this room was an upgrade. It was not an upgrade as the reviews aren’t very good and we based our decision to book the other room on those reviews. The price was the same, not an upgrade but a downgrade. We were not given a refund or discount. The property is nice but as long as you don’t have your heart set on the room you booked and paid for. Planes overhead were a nuisance but less irritating than dealing with nonsense at the front desk.
