The service walking in was ok , outside walking around lots of garbage not pick up, room is ok or average, remote control battery dead and clock as well! Light in bathroom is out not working making it it kinda dark! At the price I paid it’s average!

Our room was at the back of the property so it was very quiet from the hi way traffic. However, our room had a door to the adjoining room and we could clearly hear the people next door.

Women at the counter not very friendly. Accused me that 2 credit cards were declined which never happens to us. Then she tried her machine again without a problem and stated that the machine does not always works. My husband asked for a final bill and was told that they dont give one. So, we will never set foot into this hotel again.

We stayed for 5 nights and the property was very clean and new but the air conditioning could not keep the room cool enough.. A number of other guests had the same problem, moved rooms twice and still had the problem. As a result difficult to get a good night sleep. Breakfast was good but no variation over the 5 days. Would not recommend staying here with the room temp problem.

Prepaid stay not refunded when tried to cancel

I have stayed here many times in the last 8 years of traveling to Nanaimo. I tried to cancel my PREPAID stay more than 24 hours prior to arrival. Expedia claims they tried but Reservations was "closed" at 3 pm. In the end they have lost a customer FOR LIFE in Nanaimo and worldwide.
