Tough neighbourhood

There was nothing really wrong with this hotel but it was in a really rough part of Nanaimo. There were multiple addicts in the alley behind the hotel and although, there was no incident, we were worried for our vehicle while we slept. It was close to the ferry, so we booked it but the number of homeless was unsettling

Repeat customer, clean and quaint motel

This is a quaint little motel, clean, quiet. We have stayed there 3 years in a row. We only sleep there and are out all day and it’s perfect for that. Close to the harbour front.

Maybe just an improvement with the wifi but it might be coz its an island too. Even using our data is slower. Staff is really helpful. Bonus it has a microwave that even the bigger hotels dont have.
