Nice enough room and the very nice young lady at the front desk graciously offered to give me a noon check out because I didn't arrive until 3:30 AM. But this was apparently not communicated with housekeeping and house keeping apparently didn't bother to check. At 9:54 am they knocked on the door very loudly. I said 'I have a noon checkout and they went away until 10:50 AM when they knocked again. In between that hat time there was intermittent hammering going on in what sounded like the room next to mine. I would have rated that a place highly, but like so many less expensive hotels the housekeeping department ruined my experience by disturbing my sleep.

All the workers were very helpful and nice.The washer machines need to be replaced and updated. The furniture in the lobby is really dirty. The walls and doors need to be wiped down. The hotel needs a deep clean

When we checked in the check in attendant was friendly and asked if a second floor room was ok. He stated that it was in the back and I didn’t know what the difference would be. When we were walking in there was an immediate smell of marijuana. The carpet was extremely dirty walking in the hallways and there was dead roaches. The pictures on the website were extremely deceiving because the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been updated for about 30 years. My daughter was extremely concerned about our safety so we ended up leaving and going to another hotel.

Little things that should matter

Overall it was ok. Room was clean, ac worked but there was no remote for tv. We had to get a replacement from office, which wasn't even programmed when we tried it, so no tv for the night. Also, the fridge wasn't cooling even though it was set at coolest. Our only concern was that one of the back doors through where we could enter the hotel at the back side entrance didn't seem to lock. Oh, and we did receive one towel that appeared to have a red blood stain on it.

Stay was nice except for a room key that failed to work after 24 hours on a two day stay. Front desk would reset it, but that reset was only good for the first door unlock. After that, it would fail again.

Do not book the roach coach because

The motel is run down . The tv didn’t work and when asked for assistance the first time I was told to try another outlet . The following morning I asked for assistance with the tv it was shrugged off . When I arrived back the tv was still not working and the gentleman at the front desk came up to check and got the picture to show but it was no sound . I will never book this motel ever again .
