TV inaccessible up left of bed behind line of sight. Jug and toaster chords too short to reach plugs. Why have a cooktop that can't be used? Shelf in bathroom loose so stuff slips off. No seats ANYWHERE except one outside op shop. Decor totally out of character of hotel.

I was a nice stay although our room was great it was on bottom floor and next time Id go upstairs with balcony. As you could hear people upstairs walking around.

Has been beautifully restored.very quiet room. The picture shows a room with a balcony and window we did not get. We had a wonderful dinner that we didn't have to wait very long for. As it is the main area of town great for walking around the shops.

Wonderful rejuvenation of a 1931 Hotel, keeping true to its era but with all the necessary modern touches for a great stay. Meal was excellent and staff exceptionally friendly. We even managed to enjoy some live music. Very happy to recommend. PS....the old school ceiling fans in the pub were amazing !!

Old property tastefully renovated. Ensuite bathroom. Quiet other than band time downstairs which didn't bother me as when I owned hotels and lived upstairs I got used to it. The music stopped at a reasonable hour and good to sit at the bar and listen anyway.

Great place to stay in Murwillumbah. Everything was very good. Only problem was the air conditioning in the room, temperature kept too low and no way to control it (no thermostat). It would also be nice to allow you to check in a few minutes earlier if the room is available instead of making you wait until the exact time unless you pay a early check-in fee.

The Hotel was fresh and clean, the room we had was spacious as was the shower. What we liked: The proximity to town. Cleanliness and freshness of the Hotel. What we didn't like: Bit noisey at times, it's a pub, you'd expect that. Toilet in the shower area behind a frosted glass door. What would be nice to have: A small round table and a couple of chairs in the corner. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.
