"Beautiful and worth the splurge"
We splurged. We're so happy we did. There is something exciting about staying in THAT hotel in any city, the one that stands out and makes people wonder, "What is THAT building?" The room was beautiful, with a large white marble bathroom and the most comfortable bed we slept on in weeks. But the little things are also fun: the nightly turndown with the little card that tells you tomorrow's weather, the free fancy water when we arrived, the doorman, the big fancy staircase with stained glass windows, the art, the fresh flowers in the lobby--that kind of stuff. The train station is literally right beside/underneath the hotel (we didn't hear train noise at all, but our friends did, just a heads-up) so was extremely convenient, and you are just steps from Old Town. Breakfast was pricey but very high-quality with unusual items for the taking. It's expensive for sure, all the way around. But it's also really, really fun.

"Good location"
The hotel is in a very good location to access this lovely city. Stylish interior. Staff very helpful. Breakfast and restaurant very good. If you are in the added rooms, as we were which looks like an office block from the outside you may be woken at 7am by tables being put out by the church to sell their huge collection of books. Also if like we did you come back for a rest in the afternoon before going out for the evening the same process is reversed at 4pm. I hope they make lots of money though as it's for a good cause Christian Aid. The room itself although very comfortable was a disappointing size especially the bathroom. Very cramped, no storage and one thing really bad a shower curtain! There was surprisingly no drawer storage whatsoever. So underwear and other items had to be left in the case for the duration of our stay. The whole thing seemed to be style over substance.

"Great location, nice facilities, recommended! "
My second stay at FCA and I will continue to return. Nicely outfitted apartment. Heating failed (as it did on my first stay) but I picked up how to fix it from my first stay :) Sure it wouldn't have been a problem as the first time they fixed it quickly but this time I knew what to do. Helpful, attentive staff, great to have a laundry on site. Nice kitchen though I didn't use it too much.

"Great location, walking distance of everywhere"
Edinburgh isn't the largest city but is really great place to go. We were there on a stag-do and looked for a low cost place to crash for the evening. This place certainly done the job. The room was good, all the normal features and it was really clean. Only drawback would be the beds, which were a little small and could have been softer. The staff were great, very friendly & polite. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to stay for a night or 2.

"Good location for a couple days in Edinburgh."
We arrived in Edinburgh early thursday morning. The staff was nice enough to allow us to drop our bag off early so that we could explore the city. We checked in at 2:30pm. The room was very clean and nice, the bathroom was very big and was a pleasant nice stay. The only issue which was apologized for by the front staff was the internet. It did not allow free wifi in our hotel room, stopping right before going through the hallway there. Other then that it was very nice play to stay.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Multrees Walk hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
