WiFi extremely spotty. Local Staff was very friendly.

This resort has pros and cons. We went in the slow season and that does cause some issues. While most of the staff was super friendly, we felt that after 5pm, we couldn’t leave the island because we wouldn’t be able to get a ride back which made going out for an evening incredibly difficult. The boat driver slightly made us feel as tho we inconvenienced him when we would ask for rides at any time of the day. This is essentially a tiny island off the main land with no stores, restaurants, or any night life…so if you wanted to do and evening activities, this is not the island to stay. The restaurant would also close early if there was no one eating at it, so dinner was hard to get as well unless you got it early while staff was still available and the food was sub par at best. There is absolutely no water pressure, so just be prepared for that when you come. The positives would be the beaches. They are absolutely spectacular on this island and because of the slow season, we almost had them to ourselves daily. The water is out of this world. Bohemian people are extremely friendly and the mainland (Georgetown) along with stocking island are very safe. I never once felt uneasy anywhere we went. The tours with exuma water sports were fantastic. Highly recommend. I don’t think we would ever stay here again, but the views were incredible and we are happy we gave it a try. If we didn’t get stranded daily, my review may be different. That was a real bummer.

If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas of interest. The most relaxing vacation I have ever taken. It’s not for those who like crowded cruise ships and smoky casinos. This place is for those who love the pure beauty of the exumas

Extremely clean and super friendly!

The Peace & Plenty is in a great location, close to restaurants & shops. The view from our room was very nice, and the recently updated rooms were nice as well. Food was good! There were a few things that kept me from giving our stay more stars. The front desk staff was not very helpful. Staff could rarely answer the questions that we had about the island. Towels would be my biggest complaint. The hotel & the beach club would be without beach towels for days. The charge for not returning the number of towels you "checked out" was ridiculous. I've never felt more pressure to keep up with beach towels in my whole life! Losing towels is just the cost of doing business & that burden should not be put on the customer, especially when the hotel doesn't go the extra mile to make sure clean towels are available. Housekeeping also took all our bath towels one day & didn't put any back. There is no room service, so we had to go find bath towels on our own. The water taxi to the Beach Club had issues as well. Skip the sign-up sheet, no one uses it! In the morning, there is not enough space to accommodate everyone, & they don't make an extra trip to pick up those who were waiting- you just have to wait another hour! The only time a special trip was made to pick up passengers was when there wasn't enough space on the last boat back to the hotel. Small thing, but the general landscaping could use a bit of a refresh as well. Still great location, just manage your expectations.

Legacy Beach Suites is new construction with several 2nd floor, 1b/1b units guest-ready. The first floor multi bedroom units are currently being completed. Owners live onsite and are very responsive, helpful, friendly, and just plain nice! The 1b/1b unit onsists of a front main room with living space and kitchen, followed by a bathroom, then the bedroom with spacious closet in the back. The kitchen is equipped with cooking and eating essentials (pots, pans, cups, plates utensils, etc.) as well as a toaster, coffee maker, full size refrigerator, stove with oven and microwave. A Mini-split AC unit keeps the place cool and the bedroom can even get too cold at night if you close the bedroom door... The ocean can be seen from the 2nd level balcony and the water is a short walk over the dunes. We found an assortment of small shells in waves at the beach and caught several palometa and bonefish there as well. I even caught one sunrise over the water the day before we left. Wonderful location: it's under 10 minutes from the airport and (about) centrally located on the island. Great place to stay on Exuma!!!

The A/C was great and always cold in the room, having a full kitchen was really nice and the shower is huge!
