"Escape from the hustle to the Hideaways in Exuma"
We went to Georgetown knowing nothing about it and found the Hideaways staff very helpful and informative for all the local places to go and see and also to escape and relax . The staff was friendly and the cottage was very clean , a little dated but very nice . If you're looking for the ritz-Carlton or Four Seasons this type resort is not for you . Overall great trip and we will return!

"Awesome Smaller Boutique Hotel with Fantastic View"
Stayed there five years ago, we were just as happy to have returned to this gem. This 16 room boutique hotel has fantastic views, a beautiful pool, a gorgeous beach and a cabana bar over the water. The staff are all friendly and the welcomed feeling remains the duration of your stay. Full restaurant and bar service is well attended by wonderful and very polite staff.

"Great location. Groceries 5 times expensive to USA"
Food is scarce and expensive in Exuma. Bring nuts, snacks in suitcase.$3 can of peanuts at Costco cost $28 in Exuma.Locals are very helpful and have the phone number of all the other locals(ie tour guides, drivers) on speed dial.Everything (conch, coleslaw, BBQ chicken, fries) at Edgewater Restaurant is "to die for", big portions, better value than Fish Fry.Big grocery store next door. Bring lots of cash, especially $5 bills. I'd buy 2 dinners at a time and have it "to go". I put one in the fridge for the next day. Behind Chat n Chill on Stocking island, to the left of St Francis restaurant, where all the yachts are parked, is the blue hole. You don't need a boat as others have said. You can snorkel there from Chat n Chill. You know its the Blue Hole because you will see Bob the giant baracuda. Bob is friendly. There is also a bunch of nice coral nearby. Another snorkeling spot is near the front side of Chat n Chill. Two beaches down, snorkel before the yellow buoy. You don't need a boat to get here either, it is swimable with fins. "Must do" is the all day tour to swim with the pigs, sharks and Thunderball island. All tours go to the same place at the same time with one difference. One tour takes you to starfish bay and feeds you conch salad, while another takes you to a really good restaurant where you have to pay extra to eat. You don't need a phone at Peace n Plenty.Front desk & locals will make calls for you.My Magicjack ($30/yr) includes unlimited calls to USA from Exuma

"Wonderful location."
We loved our three night stay here. It is right on the water, the view was stunning. It is in easy walking distance to everything in Georgetown (Peace and Plenty, groceries, water taxi to Stocking Island). We loved having a kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. We can't wait to go back.

"beautiful location with lovely views on all sides"
A relaxing place to stay, right on the beach. Walk out of the room, down a few steps and the beach is just there - beautiful fine sand and the sea is warm and inviting.

"Beautiful little house close to the beach! "
I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived and saw the house! It was very clean well-kept and had everything I needed. Kamal was extremely helpful and friendly. I would stay there again without hesitation. I decided to extend my stay for two extra days and I moved to a larger house which was also very very nice! I will be going again next year for sure!

George Town is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in George Town, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your George Town hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
