"Bit pricey. Should make it all inclusive."
There are no bugs which is amazing. The main buffet had good food. Slots at the casino did not pay out but lots of people winning at roulette. The cost of two Budweiser beers was almost 20 dollars just to get an idea of the cost of things. Breakfast at the buffet for 3 was 110.00. We had dinner at Virgil's Barbecue and it costed 210.00 with no alcohol drinks. It was good food, though. It was a good time and everything is beautiful.

"Recommended but with couple observations"
Nice property with amenities meant for couples. Best feature is private island. Reservations for restaurants and water sports sold out on most days we were there. Food was excellent. Bartenders were unfriendly except for those in Piano Bar. Hard to get lounge chairs because patrons throw towels and some belongings into them early in morning but don't come till afternoon. Overall positive, but busy!

"Ocean West Boutique Hotel is a remote paradise."
This was my first time staying on this end of the island. I typically stay in the downtown or cable beach area. The hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and quiet. We spent two quiet relaxed days at the pool reading and listening to music and enjoying the hilltop view of the island/ocean. However, there really isn't much to do here - perfect if you just want to decompress. The local bus and hotel car service are required if you want to venture nearby or into town for food or any activity. We never made it to the beach - simply because it was not easily accessible. The staff is pleasant and extremely accommodating. Outside of the televisions in the rooms, there is nothing in the way of entertainment here. A pool table and a makeshift bar in a parlor like room off of the pool and an exercise "room" on the top floor are available. Breakfast is available if you just don't want to leave, however we did not enjoy it.

"Great beach, good food"
I really enjoyed the resort! The staff were lovely and there was always stuff to do. The beach is great, but not really great for snorkelling so definitely spend some $ to go on a snorkelling adventure. There are lots of kinds of food offered at the resort, but the buffet was the best imo. The only issue I had was with the maids, there was no "do not disturb" signs on the door, so they came by daily and multiple times and got mad at us for not leaving. Also, be careful about making any local calls from the room phone because they don't warn you or put it anywhere that it will cost you $2.50 Really though, this place is great. I recommend it

"A paradise in paradise"
Beautiful hotel. Stayed in an ocean view king sized bedroom. Gorgeous room and bathroom. Amazing shower!!! The facility is phenomenal and remote from the busy touristy Atlantis. Free shuttles to and from Atlantis are available however. The only con is that food/drinks are excessively overpriced, but talking to other visitors, that doesn't seem to be different at other resorts on Paradise Island. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

"WIFE and 2 YEAR OLD AGREE THIS IS THE BEST VACAY!!"
I've traveled all over the world for fun! I've traveled to 50 beaches worldwide. I've traveled to the Bahamas 2 other times before this visit. The Reef at Atlantis is a beautiful hotel. As soon as you walk into the lobby you know you're in a NICE hotel. The hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. They are quick to help with a hello and a smile. We stayed in room 11914, on the eleventh floor overlooking the pool and the ocean. The room was clean and the layout is smart. The room has the finest carpet, marble, cabinetry, linens, mattress, furniture, lighting, curtains, decorations and trimmings. These are the details that make a hotel suite a luxury suite. Our room had a breathtakingly beautiful view and from spending a week on the resort I would think every room has a nice view. We woke up every morning and opened the curtains to a beautiful view. Opened the sliding glass door and stepped out on our balcony. Everyday was a new, vibrant and beautiful day. We usually spent the morning on the beach and by afternoon we would hangout at the pool. Later we would venture to a one of the many diners on the resort for a late lunch. After lunch we would take our 2 year old to SPLASH. Splash is huge water park for children under 48 inches (the rest of Atlantis is for children over 48 inches). Slash has three large slides and two small slides. It's creatively constructed and it's a great time for kids. Atlantis is a resort that's a must see like Disney. Reef is the BEST!!

Nassau is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Nassau, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Nassau hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
