"Close to Central Station"
This hotel is very close to the train station. I would recommend if you're only staying for one night for travel connection. The inside of the hotel is okay; clean, that's all. I stayed here few weeks ago, there were scattered groups of what looks like homeless folks who hang out in the park adjacent the hotel. They are your view when you open your window.

"A Great Beginning and Ending"
We began our stay in Italy in Milan. This hotel was the perfect way to begin our trip and a fantastic introduction to Italy. We stayed one night then off to Bellagio. We returned to the hotel for the last night before departing for home. An amazing experience!

"Hotel that used to be very nice 40 years ago"
This hotel has a very convenient location if you are flying in or out of Linate Airport, otherwise it does not make sense to stay in it. It is only 5 minutes by hotel shuttle from airport. This must have been a 4 star hotel back in the 60s and 70s but time has not passed in this place and everything (including decor and furniture) must be the same my parents saw in their days. It still works, but a lifting treatment would not hurt anyone starting with a fresh coat of paint in some walls (particularly in rooms that seem to have hand and finger prints in addition to some luggage marks all over. Rooms are quite small but comfortable for just one or two nights. Staff are excellent and the buffet breakfast raises the quality of the whole experience provided by this hotel by several notches. I would stay again if needed for flying related reasons, but would like to see some love and tender care applied to the rooms, carpets, and some of the furniture.

"A great new hotel in Milan."
We arrived from a long over seas flight and booked the hotel to be close to Linate airport for an early flight the next morning. This hotel was a great place to land on and we had an excellent stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was very spacious and fresh. The hotel is very clean and new with great service on check in, breakfast upstairs and check out. There is a tram out front that connects to central Milan and so we were downtown in 15 minutes to meet friends for dinner.

Nice room , had spa bath, couldn't make a cup of tea, no bottle water available, the filter water was not great. Have money available bell boy expected a tip. Steak meal was highlight. Could do with a hotel sign visible from station across road.

"Location and neighborhood great"
Hotel Galles is located for easy access to Metro (subway) which is steps away from hotel entrance, three blocks to Central Station (trains), restaurants, shopping. Concierge was readily available for help. Breakfast buffet was a true buffet with hot dishes. Staff will make a "take away" bag of cheese, crackers, etc. if your schedule conflicts with buffet times. Linens, bed, pillows (one hard, one soft) closet, safe, decor, USB outlet, A/C, housekeeping, quietness, blackout shades, toiletries, speed of hot water for sink, elevator speed, lobby = all great. Buy 48 hour Metro pass at front desk. Negatives: Early Free Breakfast (4am-7am) was essentially from vending machines. Forget it. Ask for bag of goodies. Shower stall is very small and slippery. Room to stand but don't try to bend.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Monte Cremasco hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
