Not a good hotel.

Terrible-4 night stay and never cleaned our room or put new towels. Being a platinum elite meant nothing to them. It is run down, old smell. Parking was free that was nice. Not to ihg standards at all. Lobby and pool area nice but everything else down hill.

If you need good internet speed, don't stay here.

Decent location, great parking but lacking on internet speed. Only 7 mbps and that's the best i was able to get. I've stayed at motel 6's with better internet speeds than this. Originally it was only 4mbps. If you do any video conferences, streaming etc. be prepared for constant pixelation. Also, if you have an electric or hybrid vehicle and need to charge, the chargers have locks on them so you can not turn them on! So be prepared to charge somewhere else. See photos below.
Charges have locks with switches turned off. So don't bother trying to charge your car, since they won't have any power.

The room was clean, the staff was very nice. The bathtub in our room was very old and when we went to step into it to take a shower, we almost slipped and fell. We did tell the staff at the desk and they were kind enough to offer us a free breakfast, but I hope they actually do something about it and put down some strips or mat so nobody else falls. A friend of ours found underwear in her room. She had to have room service come in and clean room as she said the floors were dirty and had the staff change all the bedding the next day. The third room we had on our reservation, that person did not have any issues, fortunately.

The stay its self was great. Wonderful room with a view of the golf course, clean room and comfy bed . However, they charged me $$ on the morning of check in when I called to change the card number on file, then charged me again at check in. When I confronted them she ( which she was very nice and helpful) assured me that it was a mistake and the charges would be dropped in 3 to 4 days, and it did. But then they turned around and charged me AGAIN when I checked out. Called and was put on hold for at least 10 minutes when I had asked to speak to a manager, one he finally got on the phone , he told me that it was a clerical error and that they have refunded me the money and it should be in 4 to 5 days back in my card. He was not as nice and told me that there was nothing they could do. So if you stay at this hotel ( it’s a nice one) make sure and check your accounts often as they tend to charge you a couple times and then tell you they can’t do anything about it.

Overall what you’d expect from Holiday Inn. Didn’t realize when we booked that breakfast was not included due to IHOP being attached to the property. They gave us a 20% discount but still I would’ve booked elsewhere if I had known. It is a long walk to the elevator if you are in the main tower. It is a large facility and parking is lacking. Staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and quiet overlooking the golf course.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was not pleasant. The room was damp and had a strong, unpleasant odor that made it hard to relax. It also felt very stuffy, with poor ventilation. To make things worse, we couldn’t close the curtains properly, which affected our privacy and ability to rest. Would not recommend.

There was a terrible smell throughout the first floor. We hoped it was just there. Nope. Got up to the fifth floor, smelled even worse. Their pool area was filthy, and the hot tub was out of service, which was one of the main reasons we were going to stay there and they didn't say anything about it. Didn't care. Asked to switch to a room with a tub instead. Was told "I don't even know which rooms have tubs." ...ok...who does? This was a non-refundable purchase, and I didn't even care. I got the heck out of there and went down the road to Country Inn and had an awesome experience, never staying at a Holiday Inn again.
