The hotel was nice and 2 blocks from the beach. We got off the cruise ship around 9am and got to the hotel pretty quickly. Check-in is at 4pm but I had paid additional to get a 1pm check-in. It was pretty tiring and long day for us. I just wished they would let us in when the room was done but they waited until 1pm. That's the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars. Given that check-out is at 11am. I think the hotel should do better to accommodate those who pay for early check-in. Surely, by 12pm, they should have a few clean rooms. Why make the customer wait.

Sonder, the Deco has a great location in South Beach with lots of nearby restaurants and only a couple blocks from the beach! The room and bathroom were spacious, the beds were comfortable with lots of pillow choices and the provided shower products were very nice! Beautiful courtyard with lounging areas and pool! Staff was very friendly and efficient. Our only complaint was hearing the people in the room above us walk around and talk...I would suggest quiet hours aftwr 10 or at least 11 pm

Really enjoyed our stay at Sonder the Deco, the room was excellent with plenty of space. Lovely to stay in an actual deco building. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Great location… next door to the famous south beach police station. There is a fabulous bakery opposite the hotel with the best croissants I’ve ever had (Miami award winning as well) some of common areas are a little tired. Would come back.

Staff was very accommodating. Getting access to the room was very easy and convenient. Whenever you needed to speak to a staff member, you could easily speak to them, do that app. My only negative thing was that the hallways gave off a smell and the elevator was out. But they did notify me in the email that the elevator would be out. I would definitely stay again

This property is within walking distance to the beach, food, options, bars, and nightclubs. I love the overall ambience of this hotel. It has a the Art Deco look. The patio area has a swimming pool and a lot of tables and chairs to relax outside. My room was very clean and spacious. You have the choice to pay for daily room cleaning, or not. The valet parking was a convenience for my car rental being that parking in that area would have been a challenge otherwise. The staff was very friendly and there is always somebody at the front desk 24 hours a day. This will definitely be my go to Hotel when I return to Miami.
