The first night I arrived it was unbearably hot. They came to fix the AC twice and it still didn’t work. They did give us a different room but we had to wait until the following afternoon. The elevator also kept breaking down so we had to walk from the 7th floor multiple times. This is very unusual for the SLS Lux. I’ve stayed there many times and did not have this problem.

During the heat of summer, this made walking up and down several flights of stairs an absolutely horrible experience. The staff was nice enough about it, but it’s clear that the property is poorly managed, if being managed at all.

I’ve stayed here before with no issues, great location. However, during this stay, one elevator was out of service the entire time, and both were down for several hours at one point. A staff member had to escort us via the service elevator, and other guests were also frustrated. My room was missing silverware, and housekeeping misplaced the remote during cleaning and lost it. Aside from these issues, the room and amenities were nice.
