Worse experience ever! The room was full of bugs everywhere, even the beds, dirty used sheets, dirty bathroom. I complained, and they told me there was not room to change, nor dot they do anything to help. The night front desk was terrible. The next morning, I told them I was going to report them to the city because the had a bug-infested room, so they moved me to another room. This room was a little more decent, however, the floor was broken, the sheets were dirty, and there wasn’t even a coffee maker. Another thing is that there are escorts at or near the front desk all the time; the armory is sobering.

I was horrible experience. Super dirty, personal was unhelpful. Elevators not working. Floor dirty, old carpet. Musky smell. Busy are, good location near the beach but not worthy. Good and confy beds, halls with smoky smell. Shower hot water not working.

Hotel/Prime location

After visiting the property, I remember staying here back in the late 2000's. Check in was a breeze and my room was at the sister hotel next door. Room was very spacious, for storage, full length mirror, view of the ground level pool and a large bathroom full walk-in shower. Alessandra assisted us throughout the visit and as with the other staff, were all very pleasant. The food options were great and the rooftop pool/bar was a nice relaxing escape. The last night I was there, unfortunately a huge cockroach was running in the room and I could not get it fast enough. I wound up staying up the rest of the night and was a bit disappointing when I mentioned to the front desk, and nothing was done upon checkout to make the situation better. I may consider going back again, but it wouldn't be at the hotel next door to Catalina (in Maxine's).

I didn’t like the fact that the property did not provide us with wash cloths, they only provided us with bath towels and when I asked for wash cloths, the housekeeper couldn’t understand what I was asking for. Our room was inside the restaurant Maxie or Moxie, I had to go to the Catalina reception desk and ask for wash cloths because the room we stayed in did not have a phone. The reception gave me 2 wash cloths (not in a bag or some sort of covering) and I had to walk from that building to the one I was staying in with the wash clothes exposed, unbelievable!
