Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Great location, sidewalk in need of repair, great hot shower, internet stable. The view out of my window was of rooftop ventilation vent. Inside view to top it off. Not very pretty! I guess for the price ok, but next time I’ll request a better view from the window.
I have stayed in the property several years ago, I like the location but the property with reason has aged and management has kept the property like back in the 80's, didn't feel the staff really approachable and felt like they were doing me a favour to dine and use the hotel services
Habia un olor horrible a marihuana en el 5to piso donde me hospedé, habia algunos huespedes que se la pasaron fumando y el humo entraba a mi habitacion, fue desagradable porque viajé con una menor de edad

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Bad experience. We found bedbugs. My mom was bitten. And the workers only told my mom that they can change the sheets for her!! No help at all! And i didn’t even get reimbursed for what I pay!
Very convenient location to Zona Rosa, Roma Norte and the Reforma. Very walkable. Safe at night. Room was clean and everything worked. That said shower drain was quite slow; shower pan quickly filled up…not a big bother. No plugs by the bed so I couldn’t use my cpap machine. My extension cord wasn’t long enough. Had to charge phone and watch at desk away from bed. Always seemed slow at that plug. Found bathroom plug to work much better speedwise and charging unit wouldn’t overheat like at desk. Hard to adjust temp without a fan or room specific AC. Was hot during the day. If I opened window…lost some privacy. At one point a little girl staying in the room across the central open space was waving at me and I could see a parent walking behind her. If I closed the curtain I lost any ventilation. At night they sometimes ran a central AC. If window open at night…party/bar noise can be noticeable. Cleaning staff was nice; desk clerks often seemed bothered if I had a question or required assistance. My door key had to be re-programmed twice. I stayed longer in CDMX but did change hotels. Although I gave a 4 overall, doubt I will return if other options exist.
The pillows have the feel of a sack of potatoes, the mattress has the comfort of a slab of rock with springs, & all the bedding is polyester. Even with the windows closed it’s too loud to sleep. Windows must be left open because the air con doesn’t come on until 1 am. There are only two electrical outlets & the bathroom light switch prevents any plug larger than a standard one from maintaining contact with the outlet. The WiFi is intermittent & when functioning I couldn’t stream music, much less video. The room safe had the lock mechanism removed. I politely asked the restaurant staff for utensils (to eat the fruit I purchased) and they gave me plastic ones! The staff isn’t friendly and isn’t bilingual. In short, don’t trust the amenities the Segovia claims to have. I would not recommend staying there and I certainly will never return.
The hotel is surprisingly nice for the price. The location is excellent. Close to the Zona Rosa and North Roma, which is a better neighborhood than the Zona Rosa now. Also the Metro is right there for a more efficient transportation system than anything on the surface, although jammed during rush hours.
