I did a ton of research before booking our trip to Mexico City and debated between neighborhoods like Roma and Condesa. I’m *so* glad we ended up choosing Centro Histórico—and specifically, **Hotel Histórico Central**! The location was ideal for exploring the city, and the service exceeded expectations from the moment we arrived. Their free 3 hr morning walking tour was awesome too! One of the standout features was the **24/7 bistro** with complimentary food and drinks—such a thoughtful touch! The attention to detail was impeccable, even down to the handwritten welcome note in our room. While the only hiccup was a confirmed bicycle rental that didn’t pan out, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for charm, convenience, and warm hospitality in the heart of CDMX.

Loved it!

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved our stay! In the middle of the historic center, friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable bed, comfortable lobby, and bottled water always available in lobby/on the floors. Each time we came back from one of our exclusions it felt like “coming home”. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Mexico City😀🇲🇽♥️

Historico Central is an absolute gem in the heart of Mexico City. We knew the location would be good, but the hotel stay far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is easy to get to from the airport and it is very easy to walk to all of the great sights in the city. Central is really the key word, close to everything. Check in was simple and friendly. The staff really made us feel welcome. The room was well appointed and very clean. We had a comfortable bed and the shower has good water pressure. Even though the street is close, our room was quiet at night. No noise issues. We did know that breakfast would be included, It is a good breakfast with lots of options served to order. Not a buffet. We did not realize that there was a 24 hour cafe with sandwiches, snacks, sodas, water, coffee and draft beer, all included in the room stay! There are a few alcoholic beverages that the cafe charges for, but this is still a great amenity! Bottled water is stocked in a refrigerator near the elevator on every floor, so we never ran out, and the mini fridge also has water and some other beverages ready to go at check in. We always had the things we needed. Everything about our stay was memorable and we will definitely return to Historic Central again if given the opportunity. This was really a wonderful stay.

I absolutely love love love this hotel, it's food and staff. It is near many the Cathedral, historical sites, shops and dining options. The hotel is very clean. The interior design and decorations are very beautiful. I am very impressed! The staff are so friendly. Special mention to Andres at the restaurant who did excellent service for our pilgrimage group. He has excellent customer service. Our room with a double bed was clean and bed was comfortable. This is a gem in Central Mexico City. Everything about this hotel is excellent. You won’t regret it

We had such a wonderful stay. We came to see the city. The hotel is so close to so many great restaurants and key locations in central area of the city. It was an amazing experience! The staff was incredible … always courteous, helpful, and friendly. The morning breakfasts were made to order and always delicious. The cafe upfront was open all of the time and offered free beverages and food. The hotel itself I believe is relatively new but made to feel rustic and didn’t feel out of place … All modern amenities. After a long day of site-seeing, the room was extremely comfortable and relaxing. Our room had a rooftop balcony with a great view of the city. We plan to make regular trips to CDMX just because there is so much to see and do. Historico Central Hotel will be our home away from home while we are there.

The overall hotel was in excellent condition and well located in the Historic center. The Hotel staff were exceptional and very helpful and pleasant all around. The food was very good with choices for the breakfast and other meals (all $$ included in the hotel stay booked through Expedia !!). Concierge staff were great at helping us sort out our various excursions, etc.
