"Close to Central Station"
This hotel is very close to the train station. I would recommend if you're only staying for one night for travel connection. The inside of the hotel is okay; clean, that's all. I stayed here few weeks ago, there were scattered groups of what looks like homeless folks who hang out in the park adjacent the hotel. They are your view when you open your window.

"Close to train station "
Nice room , had spa bath, couldn't make a cup of tea, no bottle water available, the filter water was not great. Have money available bell boy expected a tip. Steak meal was highlight. Could do with a hotel sign visible from station across road.

"Hotel that used to be very nice 40 years ago"
This hotel has a very convenient location if you are flying in or out of Linate Airport, otherwise it does not make sense to stay in it. It is only 5 minutes by hotel shuttle from airport. This must have been a 4 star hotel back in the 60s and 70s but time has not passed in this place and everything (including decor and furniture) must be the same my parents saw in their days. It still works, but a lifting treatment would not hurt anyone starting with a fresh coat of paint in some walls (particularly in rooms that seem to have hand and finger prints in addition to some luggage marks all over. Rooms are quite small but comfortable for just one or two nights. Staff are excellent and the buffet breakfast raises the quality of the whole experience provided by this hotel by several notches. I would stay again if needed for flying related reasons, but would like to see some love and tender care applied to the rooms, carpets, and some of the furniture.

"Very comfortable hotel close to airport "
Our family of 4 stayed for one night at the Wintergarden Hotel, our room/suite was huge. Huge whirlpool bath and king size bed one end and large sofa bed for our children in the lounge area. Very modern hotel, touchpad controls to control lights, temp etc. Buffet breakfast was nice we all managed to find something we liked. Would throughly recommend.

"Very close to the train station."
Hotel was one of the cleanest we stayed at in Italy. It's a 7min walk from the train station Firenze SMN. Room was clean and modern. It looks either brand new or newly renovated. Good space. LCD TV, safe, refrigerator, very comfortable bed. It was easy to grab a cab because it was close to the station. The Duomo was close but we had to take a cab because it was too hot to walk while we were there.

"Great hotel"
A posh hotel, a great value for money. Breakfast staff efficient, polite, and they set the tables professionally. Lots of fruits in the breakfast, which is great! The coffee (Americano) was tasty. The room big enough, the bathroom big and clean, no carpet therefore feels cleaner. And it's very close from the Milano Stazione Centrale therefore convenient. Not far from the historic city centre either. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time I'm in Milan!!

"Nice hotel bit further out than expected "
Nice hotel, some staff could have been more helpful than they were. It was further out than we expected but we found a metro close to the hotel which we used to get us around just under 5 euros for a day pass.

Merate is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Merate, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Merate hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
